As most of you already know: if the weather is bad, abui is bound to do something totally outrageous. So what did I do from 3pm till 2am with a 2 hour break inbetween you ask? We call this: Urban Snow Drifting.
This phenomenon we call "being a ricer" has been taken to the next level. In short: I've gone public. By public I mean driving sideways more than actually driving straight, in broad daylight, on your everyday streets next to your everyday people. Don't try this at home folks, it's totally too risky unless practiced for countless hours on an dedicated track that's covered in snow. The day included but not limited to: Power Sliding, Feint Drifts, Inertia Drifts, Power Over Drifts... etc and last but not least... the boring ole' "straight-line driving." But every other guy and his mother drives straight. You drive straight to work, you drive straight to go home, you drive straight to your nearby shopping center, when spotting another ricer... you drive straight to race him etc. This my friends, is called B-O-R-I-N-G. So in order to spice up your day to day activities, one must accomplish them through a technique we call, "strictly DRIFT." (P.S. This does not mean ripping up a parking lot! If you wanna be hardcore RICER, you gotta drift EVERYWHERE YOU GO!!!)
It totally didn't help that I watched Fast & Furious Tokyo Drift the night before... and planned this whole rice adventure a weekend in advance so I was SUPER PSYCHED! We are presented here with a total of 9 road hours, 7 of them sideways, and 2 full tanks of gas:

(No tires, people, cars, or animals were harmed during the filming of this video. Do not try this locally, all stunts were performed by a super hardcore ricer. You cannot do this in your 350z, in fact, it's impossible unless you enjoy smashing into things.)
Law enforcement was next to non-existent today. And the best thing about Urban Snow Drifting: You have a perfect legitimate excuse to go sideways... heck... everyone is going sideways whether they did it on purpose or not. Though, I'm very proud of NOVA drivers today; not too many idiots were stuck in ditches. I did however see a 350z parked on the side of 66 West. I bet he's still there right now. People were staring at me driving by as if I was some blonde w/ double D *****. Some even stopped their cars just to watch; their expressions were funny as hell. "Yes folks, DRIFT'n.... still need a dictionary?" I made sure to be friendly and gave a few waves as I passed by sideways.
