Well heres some of the stuff I got on video over the weekend. It was a lil too much snow for my car the first night but after they plowed the next day it was mainly just ice with some snow packed on top. Its nothing spectacular but was a lot of fun...

I was scared for my oil pan.
We don't have 500+hp sti or a dog box trans. Ken Block is no longer with subaru, he now drives a Ford Fiesta or whatever it's called. Plus, Block has the money to fix his car if he run into a wall, snow mound etc.

Its an 08. I've got the stock wheels with 31K miles on them. I was still able to get around just fine, and could slip and slide whenever I wanted to. It was a blast.
All you need is a safe learning environment. If the fear of crashing is part of the equation, then it is skills that are lacking.
Some of the guys I run with make no more than $8.50/hr and can out-drive 99% of the guys who have tons of cash to dish out on mods. They also push their cars to the absolute limits where a fraction of a second of miscalculation could mean life or death. It's not the mods that make the car nor the amount of money dumped into the car. The only role money plays is: buying gas and tuning up the car. It's 100% the driver.

Funny how a lot of people think this way. Thats why I put lowered with street tires in the vids. In case you cant tell the car slides more "controllable" at lower rpm's and goes a good distance with barely any momentum. Its something I guess you wouldnt understand but Im sure some subie guys here do. Also the ice played a huge factor in how easy it slid with barely any gas at all. Yes Sti's from factory are built for these sorta conditions but add tires that suck in snow, lowered and 320whp then its a lil different story. Ken Blocks cars are built to handle just about anything and if he crashes it he's rich so it doesnt matter. I spent my own 31,000 dollars on this car and Im not about to crash it tryin to impress anyone on any forum with such unpredictable conditions. You assuming every subaru owner can do ken block stuff is like me saying "go do some 90mph drift off the interstate, If Tanner Foust can do it so can you". What a stupid assumption that every Z owner can drift you know. Im sure some people out there know where I'm coming from...
