where is everyone running this weekend? I'm planning on going to cecil on saturday or capitol on sunday.

I don't like the drive to cecil, but you get in alot of runs plus I ran my pb there.

you think so they are also running the cheaper street drags on friday night. Actually I think everywhere will be crowded if the weather holds up.

I think you got it backwards....... wait maybe I'm just reading it wrong.

Nope, taller sidewall equals more bite in drag racing.

Yeah I was processing the info wrong haha. For some reason I thought it said a 35 is bigger than a 40.

yea I am leaning towards cecil as well even though the drive is annoying... I figure every track is going to be crowded... but if a group heads to mason then I will head there..

I raced regularly at Mason Dixon in 2004 and 2005 when they had a Import Quick-8. Competition was slim (probably why it ended). Usually if you ran better than 14.0 seconds you were in. Excellent learning experience.

Have not done test & tune for years. Summit ET racing at Cecil County yes.

Been to Capital several times at night. Pitted the Z and removed spare tire, floor mats and stuff. When I returned from a run some punks tossed all my stuff down a hill. Had to search for my things in the dark.

Have not returned since.

I might come up to cecil to watch, worried too much now about breaking things to try and race for any time in the near future.

the power and torque is reasonable for the dragstrip, it's more that I've been experiencing problems with my setup (resulting in replacing the turbos and fuel system) and want to avoid anything else going wrong before I have a chance to enjoy the car and attend meets.

I know the feeling enjoy your car. I used to be boosted (turbo) back in 05 when I lived in Socal too many problems so I got rid of it.

I do miss the feeling of over 400 hp/tq though. I might do it again with a HKS S/C.
