So some of you know Mason Dixon Dragstrip is re-opening next weekend which is the start of a bunch of fun for us in the area and anyone else around. Anyone have any goals set for this year they would like to accomplish? I personally would like to hit 12.4 or better with my Sti by the end of the summer and 13.3 would be awesome in the Z. I'd like to see my gf break 13's period since she was so close last year and pulled a 14.2 . What do some of you have planned for the track?

If I can find another track model spare wheel and keep WOT down the 1320 I'll hit my goal this year, even with a weasauce launch

 

Are you still shooting for 10's? I'm not on here to often so I haven't heard what your car has done most recently.

 

Shooting for a 12.3 on street tires, also, a number of people had mentioned heading to Cecil county opening weekend as well..m

C5 vette, you and I might be a pretty good race considering our similar goals. I look forward to seeing you out there sometime. Ive only raced a c5 one time on the highway so you can imagine what haopened. Id really like to see how I do against one from a dig. Should be a good race.

 

Sounds good man, seems like it would definitely be a good run. I run at Mason pretty frequently,all though Cecil has become my new favorite track ha. But yea we will def. Set something up, I am always down for friendly runs

 

Yeah, 07' was the last time I ran my car. Even though its a hike Id like to do a Saturday AM at Cecil, $20 and you can run over and over as long as you wish.

I havent even had a chance to run this new setup

Alberto, the last time I went to Cecil on Sat it was $35.....**** that noise and the 2 hour drive. I'll probably come up and watch at mason if people plan to be there next weekend.

Cecil, MIR and MD are all 1+hr from me

Crapital is 15 min from my house but I dont like running there for a few reasons

 

Its still 20 at crapital, 30 at mason, and 35 at Cecil.....I can remember when none were over 20....

 

ill go up to mason or cecil on a saturday if a big group is going but I think im gonna be frequenting crapitol because its close soo if I destroy my car im not too far away from home lol

 

Crapital sucks, but it has the luxury of being less than an hour from just about everyone. Cecil is a stroke for us W. MD and Nova people.

 

^^^ agree but for every weekend it will do the job then I will lay down good times (hopefully) when I go somewhere else
