Have someone crank the car and check if the car has spark. that would require you to remove a coil. If spark is ok when cranking but still not starting it is possible that the car may not be getting fuel. The fuel pump may not work at times. When the car does not crank see if you can rubber mallet or kick underneath on the fuel tank, or remove the covering in the glove box behind the pass. seat and with your hand bang the top of the fuel pump. If the car starts up after or during cranking then its poss. fuel pump. I recommend to crank while banging the pump. But The cam/crank sensor's might be faulty as well. Usually with that you would have some type of CEL and code. Try the lock/unlock trick, but it may be poss that your key has become out of wack and may need to be reprogrammed for the anti theft module to be recognized. Simple things to check though are if the car gets no fuel or no spark. That would narrow down what to look for after the fact.

Yea I checked that yesterday, car is gettin fuel. Tried 3 diff spark plugs and 3 diff coils, none of them ever sparked while tryin to start the car. Tried a fresh coil and spark plug and it still wouldn't spark.

Dumah!! Is your car AT or MT? If it is MT than it could be your clutch switch.

If it were the clutch switch it wouldn't crank at all.

I'm leaning towards a blown fuse, check all of 'em, under the hood and in the driver kick panel.

Yea car cranks so its not the clutch switch, checked all fuses and relays...they're all fine. I'm leaning towards a bad crank sensor.

Re-check all your fuses, I had that happen to me awhile ago.

Thanks for all of the helpful input. Turns out it was the key immobilizer system. Seems like it dropped the key I was using and wouldn't register anything else. When I switched out the battery it reset I'm assuming. Then the second key I had worked like a charm.
