I never knew Dave was a gun guy...

I love shooting at Delmarva but last time I went with a group of friends the crazy old man accused of us of stealing brass, finally catching us (we hadnt been in 1 month) and told us not to com eback. Then he closed the rifle range down wayyy before sundown.

Old senile b@stard.

Zeke always accuses people of stealing brass. If it's something i've reloaded (i.e. for my bolt guns) i usually run the action slowly and just put it right back in my box.

I HAVE managed to stockpile about 3500 pieces of .223 brass from MDShooters events out there, thanks to LWRCI showing up with full auto's and we were 3 benches over. worked out really well for us cause they didn't want the brass.

You know that old man? Thats his name?

I hate the fact he treated us that way and part of me doesnt want to go back, but its a fun place to shoot.

I thought about calling the other down to earth guy-who I assume is his son or emailing him but havent.

I thought .223 was bad to reload... especially random brass? Something about dirty and gas piston. I'm not an AR guy so I'm just trying to hear from someone with experience. Villinous turned me onto a real nice carbine or the Beretta CX-4 but other then that an AKS-74 should round out my collection.

.223 is not bad to reload, I learned how to reload on that cartridge and a Dillon 550. It was overwhelming learning that equipment at first...$hit I still couldnt do it alone.

What do you have Dave?

Yeah, don't really know him on a personal level, just know his name. The rest of the family is pretty cool, and typically so is he. But as you said he's getting old, and occasionally has an off day. He's had it with us, and we just shrug it off and the next time we're there he's right as rain.
