Odenton but the location doesn't matter.

This store http://nakedarttattoos.com/home.html is in Odenton I've heard about it from a few people but don't know what all is out there. Place I used last time is no longer around and wasn't all that great so it doesn't matter anyways.

We have a place near Gettysburg so PA is also an option. But I'd rather it be a little bit closer due to wanting something custom and knowing that I'll have to go a few times to get down the ideas.

I can PM you someone if you're really serious. She used to work out of a shop, but now works out of her own studio by referral only. She did my Spidey and my Deadpool and both look exactly like the images i brought her.

Way to get banned lol.

Clay, next time I see you, you'll have to undress for me.

As far as what I want, I need to sit down with an artist and go over it. Been wanting a new one for almost 10 years now.

i really did the rock's style of tattoo aka polynesian but they mean nothing to me. If I could take a bunch of things from my life to build something like that it would rock. but still in the VERY early stages of thoughts on it. I have a LONG way to go on figuring it out.

Guessing bicep up to the shoulder/around back of the shoulder.

if I can't figure out what to do I guess I can just get playboy bunny icon on my back.

Only if Linh is included...

Most tattoo artists will work with you, seeing as how many are personal and it will be permanent. The woman who did mine showed me this guy who was getting a Yakuza style bodysuit [basically the only parts not inked were his head/neck/hands/feet. He would come like most of us for hourly sessions or until the pain became too much. Even if you bring crappy sketches or ideas from multiple sources a good artist can work wonders. The guy in NY who did my other tattoo looked at a comic book and a drawing I did and basically drew it free hand on my arm.

Ive been wanting a tatto for a while now. Having gone thru some personal challenges and experiences recently I want something but cant quite describe what it is I want-Im not artisitically gifted enough to draw it.

Ive contemplated going somewhere local but I feel like some places wouldnt be willing to sit down, work things out, do all shops do this or just the better ones? Would it be considered rude or snobbish to ask the artist to show me some of their work before I sat down even with them?

I know, noob Q's...

Norm at Art With a Pulse and they're closer to you Jeffie and Bert. One of the best I've seen in a long time. Also custom designs his own guns as well.

You will most likely have to wait to get seat time with Norm himself FYI...but it's worth it....

You'll see some of the work he's done on my brother on his site.

Nope. The same way you probably took great care to seek out a qualified mechanic for your Z is the same care you should use to seek out a tattoo artist. Most of us learn from bad experiences the first time around. Bottom line is, they want to get paid just like anyone else. And if you have something really intricate or elaborate that means more visits which equals more money. Both of my colored tats took minimum 4-5 sessions to complete at $100-150 per hour. A good artist will work with you and won't even begin inking you until a design has been decided upon by the both of you.

Dude, I wanted full sleeve so bad. But I pussed out, so I decided any work I get done should be able to be hidden by a short-sleeve shirt. :0(
BTW, Robbie's bro has some decent work on both arms and his legs.

Chris is my bros name. My whole family knows Norm very well...he attended my bros wedding and has tat'd literally every person in my immediate family (yes...including mom and dad). lol

The sleeves he did on his wife are awesome too.

Jeffie....as a suggestion look into "biomech" stuff (looks like the skin is peeling away exposing flesh/bone or mechanical parts etc). Norm in particular likes to do a lot of that stuff.

I'm sorry but anything with Altered in the name is a no no. Even more so if I have to live with it and can't sell it off.
