Function Tuned???
Bump....waiting for Widebody350 (Ian) and his friend Zeus to thank the former F:T employee Ken (temporarily at Auto Expectation, Inc who is a Z shop next door to the former F:T) for putting differences aside, diagnosing and replacing the non rated fuel line that was used by "shop X" on his GT-R build.....so they could make it to their oh so important track day.
Yeah, it's the auto from a G35X and I think for the most part everything bolted up and they just needed a custom rear driveshaft. I got to read this a little before all this starting happening. They had a FWD 350z for a bit...lol
I just talked to Dave about this 2-3 weeks ago about doing this to my Z. He said it was stupid expensive and that I would need a 'Skyline drive train.' I guess that's he meant a G35X. I suppose it would be eaiser for you since you have an Infiniti already.
^^They're no longer in business. Not really to much to update.
If you're in No.Va. and need work done locally I take my car to a shop called Funktion Auto (also off of Rt 606W). They are in no way related to the former Function:Tuned and do not currently have a dyno for tuning. They do however have the facility and knowledge to set up track cars (SCCA, NASA, etc), suspension, alignments, do pretty much any type of install, etc. It's a VERY nice facility if you've never been there.
