It's stupid. It does, however, show that you need to take a break from my350z.....lol 99.2% activity. I thought I was bad!

It appears that my350z.com may have been taking a dip in traffic w/ the new platform available. In order to keep things alive in the Z33 community, the development team got together and devised a very genius strategy. Most car enthusiasts are men, who are also competitive by nature.

By introducing a leveling system, it plays on our innate *want* to get that "extra point/level" The same strategy deployed by Farmville, World of Warcraft, etc. In order to "raise our stats," we in turn must post and interact more, which ultimately yields higher traffic and higher banner click-through-rate = generates more revenue for this site.

Nothing is coded "just for fun," these days, but the new nifty colors and stuff is cool

Kind of. There has been a drop in traffic with all the 503 and 404 errors and generally slow performance of the site, however. Hopefully IB can fix it asap....it's been going on for over a month already.

That's what I was going to say.

Clearly a major problem with the site that turns people off from it, so rather the fully fix it, lets make up a cool level system.

yay.....

I only play Madden or other sports games so this "level up" crap means nothing to me.

No, I have pictures on there but no recipe.

Basic dry rub
cook cook ribs 1.5 hours
start mopping (spraying/brushing) with apple juice every time you check coals/heat
stack the meat on top of each other in the last hour for 30 minutes to let it drip on top of the other meat, then rotate them around and cook for another 30 minutes. Sauce with a good (home made if possible) bbq sauce, and allow to finish for another 20 minutes.

total cook time is around 5 hours. You want them to bend when picked up but not fall apart. A tooth pick should easily push through the meat.

Hardest part is keeping charcoal in the 225-250 range.

That means checking it every 30-60 minutes. More you check it the longer it takes to cook.

What kind of Wood chips did you use? How long do you need to soak them for? Foil right next to the coals (or on top?) works well? I saw you had a catch underneath. Is that just to keep the grill clean?

Sorry for all the questions. I have grilled everything under the sun, I just havent smoked anything before and wanted to try it in the Weber.
