Thinking about upgrading this too
I do have another receiver, but the HDMI ports are bad so I would have to run RGB to everything not necessarily bad but I dont know what model it is.I believe I paid $500 for my old one it was an openbox one from ccity
These are my current speaker

got them from ccity when they were going out of business for like $250.

I know you're bored out of your mind over there, but this is one of those things where I'd find where you're going to live, as with the size of the room, then setup the system using your current gear, then ask yourself what needs to be replaced.
Put your extra time into learning Spanish, Chinese, or Vietnamese so when you come back you can have a better chance at happy ending.

Make sure whatever receiver you buy does true HDMI up converting, some of the earlier ones would make it so if you used standard or component cables going into the receiver you would have to also run those same types of cables out of the receiver and into the TV where ideally you want nothing more then a single HDMI cable going from the receiver to the TV.

Both of my receivers do up converting.

What was your clutch doingwhen tha0t happened? Not going into gear or what? My is a heat related problem as well.. after driving for like 15 min its hard as hell to get into gear only on take offs though.. once i get it into gear it shifts like butter after that..weird
