Some gas stations use only 92 octane instead of 93 for their premium. Probably old news, but something to look out for especially the F/I guys...I hardly ever look at the number on the pump and just assume premium is actually 93...I almost filled up with 92 on my way to the track yesterday...wouldn't have been good...

daaaamn this is way unacceptable I know almost all of the U.S. gas get imported from Saudi Arabia and other middle eastern county. the gas octane there is between 95-100.
why the hell they sell us this crappy 85-93 octane fuel and it's almost triple the price from those counties :S. God I miss it back there when the gas was 0.283$ for the gallon.

They also don't have the same octane rating system we do, so what their governmental regulations refer to as "105" is what we typically call "87" here in the states.
At least that's how it was in Kuwait.

Most of our gas comes from Mexican and Canada.
