Default Skyline Drive?

Whats up with a spring Skyline drive meet? I feel like we normally do this around May but haven't been around much to really pay attention to the posts. Any plans for this year?

I doubt it will happen due to problems in the past.

it happens, but with smaller groups and a mixed crowd. Facebook is where it's at. Last time me and my guys assembled 30 cars (close friends) with a group pass, everyone chipped in $5-10. I'll send you the invite next round Russ.

in regards to going up there for free - it probably won't happen anytime soon. We tried last year on this forum and the issue with the season pass came up ($250+ dollars for a single group pass), but no one wanted to chip in and buy one for the team. Collecting money from 50+ strangers before ascending the mountain is another feat on its own that most people would care less to hassle with.

If people here are truly interested, someone would have to be the money collector and get money upfront (through paypal of some sorts) prior to even thinking about arranging a cruise up skyline.

Yeah let me know if you guys do that again, I am down if my schedule allows. I want to hit up 211 again too. That was a blast last time. My ex girlfriend was terrified anytime we went to VA from that day forward because she thought we would end up on that road again
