Great turnout today guys , good catching up

Chris, look forward to seeing you run at the next track event for sure, the
site is

http://www.rangeracceleration.com/

Randy, good runs man

Shin, congrats on meeting your goal ( I gotta point out your one 14 second run though, keeping it OG )

Also Russ ran a 14.3 or so I believe and trapped 99mph, pretty good

Aj hope the car isn't in too bad of shape
It was awesome catching up with everyone. Good times and good laughs.

Chris, the car sounds like a beast. Hope to see it run sometime!

Definitely happy Shin hit his goal but sad Dave and Shin didnt run. (you are hilarious Dave...)

AJ, very sorry to hear about your motor man. Good luck with getting it all back together. I am sure it will be back to running as strong as ever soon enough. Look on the bright side...its almost winter so the Z was coming up on its near useless months anyway...

Zain it was a 14.4 @ 99 but dont forget the one run I had of 12.9 @ 92 lmao! Thanks for the auto tips... clearly that helped a ton...

60 ft. - 2.3
330 - 6.296
1/8- 9.501
MPH- 77.46
1000- 12.211
1/4 - 14.489
mph - 99.31

Your call was spot on. The car has near 13 second horsepower but the launch is the part that holds it back. Surprisingly traction wasn't too much of an issue but the transmission seems to just fall flat if you do any higher RPM launches. I tested 2k, 2.5k, 3k, and 4k but 2500 gave the best 60ft of 2.2 with a slight amount of wheelspin. Less rpm bogged and more rpms caused the transmission cut out like it was some type of safety feature or too much heat build up. It was evident that the transmission didn't like the hard launches because even with a better 60 ft the shifts were ungodly slow and led to 15.2x at 92 mph.

For this 14.4 run I launched off idle at Zain's recommendation and dropped nearly a second off my times.

I'd be curious to see what a manual transmission SE could do.

For what it is I am still impressed. Especially with 35mpg on the way back home

Nah, it was in drive... the brakes held it down at 4k the turbo spooled up and as soon as i released the brake the transmission jus fell flat. It was only for 2-3 secs but apparently the tranny didnt like it.

Btw i am a noob at automatics but what would a neutral drop be?
