Sunday Morning Cop encounter
Depending on the county and or state, you may or may not need a degree. Mont County requires a degree.
Anyways as for police. They remind me of black people.
Only takes a few to screw it up for everyone.

Now I feel the need to say something. A lot of you think Cops are so great and this and that. I'm being serious right now, and I hate to play the race card, but a lot of you don't come from the same place that I do, and haven't dealt with cops as the way I have.
How would you feel if you were robbed at knifepoint in high school, and you told the cop on duty who did it, name and everything, and yet nothing was done about it, without any visible effort put into it?
How about if you were pulled over by a cop with a few friends (not in the Z) while you were driving the speed limit and the FIRST question he asks you is "Alright, so who in the car has the marijuana? Which one of you NI****S has it?"
Not enough, okay. How about when you get into an accident, and when your tow truck company and the City's tow truck company arrives at the same ****ing time, the cop FORCES you to let the city take your car to the impound and now you're out 530 dollars.
Sorry if I don't think cops are the greatest guys in the ****ing world. Please guys, this isn't an attempt to be hardcore or anything, these things have all really happened to mE, and there's more stuff too that I really don't want to get into.

there are plenty of white people that are "racially" treated by black cops because the black ones felt they were mistreated by whites when growing up...
Blacks, latino, asain, noone is a minority anymore unless your a real true blooded cherokee indian.
Quit playing the race card it happens on both sides... Sucks to hear that some of you have been profiled on but I know that of the 8 classes I have taken in criminal justice in college all of them teach NOT to profile.
I have several friends that have been through the academy in several different counties and they are taught NOT to profile. The chief cant hold everyone's hand once they are in the field and I am sure most of you have never even seen the real book of traffic laws. YOu can be pulled over for soooo many things you would be amazed. They can come up with almost any reason to pull you over.
I for one am thankful for law enforcement because while they may be a inconvenience for traffic incidents they have also removed a lot of dangers to our society and whether we like them or not they are the ones that risk their lives every day for all of us and are theere whenever we call them no matter what the reason or how dumb.
O and most counties at least in MD now require a degree to become a police officer. and those that dont require it to start typically make you take all teh criminal justice college classes that would make up a associates degree while you go through the academy. so while you may not have a degree you do still have the C.J classes

Given your pasts post/threads, it will be hard for anyone to take your posts seriously, or to believe you.
And didn't that "loser" Cop just give you a warning for speeding?
Here's your essay you wanted. Plus I'm killing time at a wedding today.... sigh.
Perception could have a lot to do with it.
What people think police officers should do and what they feel they didn't do is always an issue. This goes for everything not just police. How someone should have been served at a bar when its super busy, some people understand, others feel it's because of who they are. Same for eating at a restaurant someone who orders something that takes 15 minutes to cook tends to get pissed at the table next to them that got served much faster. I've had the race card come out with that too. Even after explaining the other table got a SALAD while you ordered a PIZZA that is made from scratch....... Yes it does have to cook.
Here's a few of my police stories.
We had someone come and dump massive amounts of trash into our dumpster at work. I pulled out the persons address on many different pieces of mail, as with boxes. The police officer said chances are very high it was that person but unless they saw it happen they can't do anything. No point in even calling unless its just to let them know its a bad idea to use a random dumpster to leave trash.
We had 2 white guys pull up in an older beat up stands out like a sore thumb van. They got out, went into our storage shed and took 2 cases of tomato sauce. Not prepared sauce, raw form tomato sauce. 12 #10 cans...... Clearly they had no idea what was in there and grabbed what they saw first.
I had the make/model color, description of the guys, as with part of the tag #.
Police couldn't do anything unless they saw it or if they happen to see the van, pull it over and they have the product in their hands if not they would have to admit to it.
Never heard anything about it again.
Last one that comes to mind.
We had an employee go into the office, into the safe (wasn't locked) and take out about $400.00 I knew who did it from loose talk. Hell, most people knew who did it. When it came to police. Nothing could be done. Unless they saw it happen, or if we saw without a doubt it happen. Since we didn't see it happen. Nothing could be done. They could question the guy but it would be a direct did you or did you not steal money. If he says no. There's nothing they can do.
I feel that if we were an American restaurant things would have been taken care of differently, but since we're an Italian restaurant.... They didn't even try. *sarcasm*
Personal problem I had.
Few years back one of my cars got rear ended at a stop light. The car that hit me ad temp tags on it. They wanted to exchange info and be on their way. I disagreed and called for police. Once the police officer showed up they said, yes we rear ended him. The police officer took down my info, their info, the cars details, pictures, and a police report.
I called their insurance company and sure enough they didn't have anyone with that name that had a policy. I called the driver directly and she was confused as to why it wouldn't show up. She wanted to meet up to pay out cash, I had an estimate done at a local body shop and agreed if they paid cash I'd go that route rather then insurance. Sure enough she keep blowing off the meeting dates.
I got fed up and called the police officer and told him the insurance was no good and shes beating around the bush. He told me to get my insurance involved. When my insurance company called her she blow the F up and went off on them. Saying they got the wrong person to leave her alone stop harassing her yada yada....
Called the police officer up again. He then told him he would look into it...... Few weeks later called him back. He told me they had temp tags and they were no legit. So the car couldn't be traced back to that person and because of that there was nothing they could do. I asked him since he was there the day of the incident if he could go to her house and say something to her. Nope. can't do it. Too far out of my area.....
At that point I dropped it. It was one of those "loser" police officers that makes them all look bad. I knew nothing would come from it. If I really wanted to. I could have taken it up with the police department but in the end I didn't see the value of time/waste/reward so I dropped it.
I guess that police officer didn't know I was white.
Now lets get on the flip side of things.
I've been on many police ride alongs and have seen all kinds of good stuff.
One of the things I've noticed is every time we pulled anyone over it was always for a legit reason. White people tend to just play stupid like nothing was done wrong. Oh I did that? Really?
Black people at times did the oh, sorry didn't know I was speeding or whatever it was they did.
However...... Most of them had a chip on their shoulder before the police officer made it to their window. They would move around A LOT, be clearly disturbed in WTF kind of oh no you didnt kind of way. And when the police officer goes to talk to them they for some odd reason cut them off saying why did you pull me over or I didn't do anything. Then it all goes down hill. Very uneasy stops to say the least.
For the most part the officer just has to take it, sit back, then try to move forward with the ticket. You have to remember they have mics and they have video rolling in damn near every car.
Best ride along I went on with was with a black police officer. So many great stories from that man. Even more so when he got the R card pulled on him during a traffic stop that day.
Shin do a police ride a long. It's super fun and depending on where you do it at, you might see a lot of cool things. It might make you see things in a different light.
As for the knife, chances are its a he said she said kind of deal. What can they do within the law? There's a lot of details that go into these things just like how nothing could be done at any of the restaurant issues we've had.
For the Tow truck. Again I bet there's more to it then you see. If not and you were truly wronged get a lawyer and send the bill to the police department. or take them up in small claims court. Chances are if you really were wronged a lawyer will take the case for free.
When anyone says anything you dislike like in this forum. It turns into 5-6-7-8-9 pages of replies. You're telling me that happened and you just let it go? How long ago did it happen? You cannot get pulled over for doing the speed limit, you can however get pulled over for 2394809243 different things you might have failed to tell us about. From a burnt out tail light, no front tag, maybe people in the back were moving around too much. Once you got pulled over he walked up to the car and said that?
Again talk to a lawyer, this is the kind of stuff they love. Most all cars have cameras and mics. Hell even without a lawyer, writing a letter to the police department captain explaining what happened will open up a
investigation into that police officer, his video footage will be reviewed at best he will be fired. at worst he will have to deal with people up his *** for a few months.
Then again. What really happened?

I can't believe you would actually say that there was a chance I'd be lying about any of this. If I'm now considered a liar, then wtf point is there in posting?
Jeff, I actually did plan to sue when my car got towed away, but I was told, "it's the law. They can do that." Which is actually true, he could. But why would you basically charge me five hundred bucks when you can see I'm already going to have to be kicking out some money because of the accident, especially when my tow truck DID get there to move the car at the same time yours did? The car was even on the side of the street, and not in the way of anything.
That is some loser sh*t.
That racial marijuana thing happened only when I was 18, my parents told me to let it go, considering I didn't have a badge number or anything. At the time, I didn't know I could actually take action against the guy. Also, you do know in court, cops can show only parts of their recordings or video that they want to show, right?
There was nothing wrong with the car, no tints, or anything. Just a regular red beater Grand Prix with 4 black kids in the car.
Hey look, man. You can call me a kid or immature or ricer or whatever. But one thing I will not tolerate is an attack on my integrity. I have not once lied about anything or anyone on this forum. So why would I just start flipping lies now?

when did i call you a liar? reading comprehension > you.
I said given you past posts it's hard to "take you seriously or believe you".
That is not calling you a liar, that is saying you're not taken serious on here, and it will take more for us to believe anything you say, and the take your word for it.
Look at your posts:
Yes I did engage in in the utmost epic rain racing ever, in today's rain. This Pagani Zonda R gave me the evil eye and I gave him the super evil eye and when the turn came, he hit the brakes, but not me, oh no. Cause I, Z Racer Shin, had entered RAIN RACE mode. And I entered into the most incredible drift down i83 heading into downtown.
There was so much dirt and water kicking up from my tires that I left indents into the pavement, and tidal waves of rain were created from the epic Z Racer drift. When the wave finally subsided, we pulled next to each other at the traffic light and he said:
"WOAHHH DUDE YOU'RE SO BADASS."
And I said, "Yes, I am that badass."
Shin!!

Hmm. I have beaten no legit cars. So I guess Dodge Charger R/T, Mercedes S AMG (315hp), and New Edge Mustang GT are not legitimate. Who gives a fck about beating V8 Muscle/Pony cars and high end luxury cars.
I don't think those wins are necessarily 'illegitimate', especially since I am admittedly kinda new to actually racing.
.

So maybe you stick out with police too! Maybe it's all in your mind that you are targeted by racers AND police!
jeffie said it best here

What people think police officers should do and what they feel they didn't do is always an issue. This goes for everything not just police. You're on a public forum, if you can't tolerate what people type or their opinions, stop reading, and stop posting.

So when you say "hard to believe", that's not an implication that I'm probably being dishonest?
Alright, cool.
So you can't tell the difference between the Zonda post (joke) and the other posts (serious)?

My sarcasm is almost as good as yours

So it was a $500.00 tow bill? How much did they charge you per day of storage and how long did it sit in there?
As far as 4 black kids in the car that got pulled over for nothing. Again, something went down. 1 of the guys could have thrown a cig butt out the window, maybe the driver touched the white/yellow line, maybe did a CA roll at a stop sign. Were you driving? Did you notice everything that was going on around you? No riding a cars ***, no braking too often?
I bet you my turbo 350Z that the officer had a legit reason to pull the car over.
Did you know it's illegal to have any tag frame on a car? State of MD says it's illegal to put anything over your tag that covers any part of it. Yes those tag frames from the dealership can get you pulled over.
It's also illegal to have any modification done to your car in the state of Maryland that doesn't meet OEM specs. You can be pulled over for that.
It's illegal to have an exhaust with a hole in it due to noise, that alone can get you pulled over.
Depending on the area, you cannot have your radio turned up over X many DBs you can get pulled over for it.
You cannot have passengers moving around excessively, that is a distraction to the driver and can get you pulled over.
One of the guys I went on a ride long with told me a story about a past ride along where he told the passenger he could pick out the next car to pull over. Some guy at a stop light flicked a cigarette butt out the window. The guy said I HATE when people do that. Get him. So they pulled the guy over for flicking (littering) the butt out the window. Sure enough he had a warrant for his arrest.
Another random not speeding pull over....
Many years ago a car was pulled over out west for not having a front tag.
McVeigh was stopped by Oklahoma State Trooper Charles J. Hanger from Pawnee, Oklahoma.[50] Hanger had passed McVeigh's yellow 1977 Mercury Marquis and noticed that it had no license plate. McVeigh admitted to the police officer (who noticed a bulge under his jacket) that he had a gun and McVeigh was subsequently arrested for having driven without plates and illegal firearm possession; McVeigh's concealed weapon permit was not legal in Oklahoma. McVeigh was wearing a T-shirt at that time with a picture of Abraham Lincoln and the motto: sic semper tyrannis ('Thus always to tyrants'), the state motto of Virginia and also the words shouted by John Wilkes Booth after he shot Lincoln.[51] On the back, it had a tree with a picture of three blood droplets and the Thomas Jefferson quote, "The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."[52] Three days later, while still in jail, McVeigh was identified as the subject of the nationwide manhunt.
