My SES lights went off for no reason last week, so I took it to a local spot to use their code reader [P1274 Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 ]. My AFs were just replaced and still under warranty so I took it in to get checked.

While waiting, someone from the dealership called me on my cell and asked me if they could buy my car and put me into a 2013 370Z. Made me think of someone else in here who'd mentioned how Nissan was trying to buy back old model Zs since they were now in demand.

Told him hell no, but just thought it was funny...

 

Should have said they can buy it off you, but you don't want a 370 lol.

 

I always wondered why in his right mind he thought that was a platform to mod. That car looked terrible and performed terrible.

But when he rolled in he still got the " ooooooo ahhhhhhh" out of some noobs.

 

All these idiot kids need to continue totalling their Z's so mine will finally be considered "rare".

Remember one time a young kid rolled up in foxy body 5.0. Went around the old navy and entered the lot. Just started doing a burn out. Held it for about 2 mins. Huge *** cloud. Sad part is he didn't notice the cop parked next to old navy. Cop let him finish pulled up behind him. While the smoke was still lingering. Then hit the lights and siren. Everyone was cracking up.

 

She should buy a ***** and saw it to the driver seat.

I had a PGT, built NA, that did serious work on the "streets" during about a 2yr run. Many LT1 Fbodys and Vettes looked at my tail lights. Turbo and S/C Hondas too.

Many times I'd be out driving fools by a long shot but you wouldn't believe the work I did in that car lol. Ahhh the good old days.

Edit-holy $hit in pretty sure I saw that burn out incident too. Friday night?

Yea it was a Friday night. I think those were the craziest nights. That's nuts that's place was the spot.

 

Yup a Ford with a Mazda drivetrain. If you ever saw a black PGT, with a cam lope on gunmetal 16" Enkeis (light and cheap lol) that was me.

 

Those cars weren't very common back then. I actually think i did see it. Probably cracked some jokes about it too. My mom had one back in the day. It was like a teal green V6 I think. Cool looking car when I was in elementary school.

 

Wish i wasn't so fawking young, missed out on all the good times. But I figure it was probably for the best I wasnt there. Also just so 5hin doesnt think we forgot about him

It's funny how all of us attended those Rockville and Metro parades but we don't remember each other's faces. I guess all ricers look the same.

 

Oh lawd the old days in Rockville...circa very early 2000's. Used to bring my turbo 4-door GSR down during the summer months.
