Oh you want good advice?

Sell the 240 and z and buy one used car that will serve you well for many years, good mpg, enough space, good in the snow.

Set a really low budget of what you can spend every month. Just above your basic cot off living. The rest of your money pump it into ING direct.

Live like a nickel.

Fawk cars.

The problem is being happy. You need to be happy with having that kind of power and not want more.

In the end you are better off selling or trading your car and buying another car that is already done, trick is finding one done correctly. Talking to people like hills garage can point you in the right direction on legit cars locally that are on the market.
I meant this is good advice

Well we all know that won't happen lol already have a savings/retirement plan in effect since I was 18. What will happen is sell the 240. Rather put the money I was planning to put into the 240 into the Z instead.

I can be very happy with a car that has the right suspension and just enough power to keep me happy. I just will need to know what exactly I need to do to do it right.

To get most from your car, mod it only if you need to. Most people can't out-drive the Z w/ its stock power level and stock handling capabilities.

+1 on selling one of your cars, though I'd probably opt to keep the 240. Cheap to mod, cheap/easier to fix, no longer depreciates, easy to resell, cheaper on insurance, plenty of engine swap options, handles just as well as the Z not to mention it's a heck of a lot lighter.

*Edit: you'll be a fan of Miatas after you see how hard of an a$$-whooppin' a 90whp car can put on Z's at the track

5hin hs been quite on here since the "hypothetical" incidents were described.

Maybe its because he is bugging people via text about it now...

+1 on the Miata, S2K is another good option, but if you are happy with the Z then mod away

Kyle would be a good fit for a well setup RS2.5 with a set of summer and winter wheels.

Enough room for a car seat in the back, enough power to get up to 50 and enough grip to make someone puke in the turns.
