This. Even though it is rare to see a female so interested in cars, not all are given money or sleeping around for parts. I don't have much for my car right now (just coilovers, manual swap that has yet to be put in, and a roof rack if you silly people count that as a mod...all bought with my own money) but I am saving to boost it in the future.

Also side note I was 18/19 when I bought my Z with my own money -__-

Roof racks as mod lol

That's like saying floor mats are a mod. You either have use for it or you don't.

Roof racks (yakima and Thule) became "mods" in the VW/Civic/ and eventually hella flush scene a while back, tons of cars rock them for show nowadays

It is a $600 rack I wouldn't compare it to a floor mat lol, theres so much stupid controversy over it. I use it for my bikes though, if anyone wants to go bike riding with me in the spring let me know :]

I've been reading for a while about lowering and I am about to pull the trigger on Eibach Sportlines because for springs, looks like it's the lowest drop (1.2 - 1.5" )
Do you guys know springs that can go lower?

So I have been toying with the idea of getting a spoiler to tie in my hood/lip/sideskirts but I am not sure, here is what I am looking at, what do you guys think?

option 1. paint matched

Option 2. slightly less aggressive (flatter) and in carbon

Option 3. the original company that the CF one above copied, this would be paint matched..

Eibach Sportlines are a pretty good choice. There was a whole writeup on its spring design and how removing the last coil drops the car lower and increases handling. (Be sure to get the shop to cut the correct side, not the flat side that meets the chassis, but the side that meets the control arm.) By decreasing the spring height, it simulates the compression property of the spring increasing the rate and overall stiffness.

Zain - go with paint matched

Paint matched. Too much of CF/black on red and your left with a gay a$$ two tone car. Two tone themes stopped being cool in 2004.

B-what kind of riding do you do? And where?

You guys should help me pick my next hair color

I've only been off road once right before it got cold, before that was just leisure and taking regular trails. I want to do more off road in spring, seeing how I have a mountain bike...it should be used like one. You should show me some sweet trails Berto!

No joke you should come out. We have riders of all ages and shapes and my fiancée got into it 6 months ago and loves it (never had been MTBing b4). Would be cool to have another female ride with us. Go as fast or slow as you want, we know Patapsco like the back of our hand.

Appreciate it !

For my driving style, the Z is my daily and I don't take it to track. I might be autocross once but that will be it

We haven't stopped riding into this weather. It's all about having the right gear. We ride every Saturday 2-5pm, including tomorrow.

What kind of bike do you have? You have a decent helmet I assume? Go pick up some shorts with an as$ pad it makes a huge difference comfort wise.

Last ride we had nearly everyone out. People have been b!tching out more and more as it gets colder. Down to 3 of us still going religiously.
