Clay the problem with your TV... I had the same exact issue on my 55" LCD and had a warrenty. they had all set up for a repairman to come out, 2 days later it started working perfectly again.
Repairman never came out and its been fine for a year now. When I talked to him on the phone he said sometime the panels in these TV's need to be unplugged and get a break then they will reset themselves
he said its common and happens all the time. I didnt believe him then but now that its been so long and no issues I guess he was right.
3 yrs same tv now def getting my moneys worth. (insignia bought at BB FWIW)

Been doing it for 10 years now. It was hard at first but now I dont even notice it. It helps if you are able to start really early. Being at work until 6 or 7 blows. Im usually home by 430.
Our office hours are 6-6 so pretty much have to work later. If I want to avoid traffic, and do 4 10s. I drive from Rockville to Ashburn daily.
