Almost under 200lbs after almost 5 months of diet and exercise. Feels good. May have to join you folks once spring hits for a ride or three.

wahoo is same frame alberto has... good one to upgrade but comes with pretty much junk components...

Ive been riding my friends wahoo and he has been riding my bike since mine fits him better and its not great...

Brakes would have to be upgraded almost immediately

If you are going to get even semi serious dont do anything under a Mamba.

The Cobia is really the one to go for I wish I had done that from the start.

nice work Mike that is a substantial decrease

Kyle, I had a Fisher Wahoo back in 2001 (before he signed on with Trek) it was a decent bike and took a beating but looking back compared to my Cobia it wasn't even close.

At the minimum i would go for a mamba/cobia if you plan to really get into riding. If you think you are just going to hit the trail once in a while then the Wahoo is probably ok,

But you don't want to be in a situation where you are constantly upgrading stuff

2 huge differences... the front shock, and lack of hydraulic brakes on the wahoo. they are V clamps and they are super weak.

If your wanting to upgrade everything then you may as well just buy a used frame.

If not go with what alberto and zain said.. mamba at least but should try to swing a cobia.

Jeff ended up buying a cobia as well.

That is a sick deal on that 21" frame. I was torn between the 19/21" but went with the smaller frame for the nimbleness.

From Saturday.
