[NSFW] Mid-A Epic Random-ness: Third Encounter
Kyle your car would perform just fine in stock form on the track, spend that money on seat time instead so you actually know what kind of set-up you like... and if you plan on drifting then head out to drift nirvana on sunday's and forget about buying coils, it will be a waste...
oh man yea those BC's on the STi sucked, car felt very unstable, but I think they were already junked out when you got the car.

I enjoy my STi, although it doesn't have the same feeling as the Z when coming out of the corners. STi is like having sex with a girl that is on the pill and also making sure by also wearing a rubber, Z with boost on the backroads is like having unprotected sex with a Hispanic woman, the odds of it catching up to you in a bad way is petty high.
That's why I love my GSX-R1000 so much, at any point it can easily kill you if you give it slightly too much throttle at the wrong time. Great feeling, such a rush.

How you like the Tein flex? Deciding between Tein and KW
Been to DN with the Z and my stock suspension was shot which required me to upgrade in the first place but made the wrong decision. Since using the BC at the track it felt like the car wanted to kill me like Ahn pointed out. I think coils wouldn't be a waste but an improvement(with the right setup) to how the car with handle and be able to link/transition easier between corners.

and yes an upgraded suspension would be an improvement for a driver that has maxed out the performance of the stock suspension.... but not for a novice driver (especially if you don't understand how to set it up).
In your case sounds like your suspension was already going out, but without seat time you will get walked by a good driver on a bone stock suspension even with $2,000 coils...
No suspension set up will replace seat time.
so you have been to the track with your new set up? What track?

Went to Summit for DN a few times with the 240 and Z, planning to go again this month on the 18th i believe. With the Z I had the stock suspension, haven't gone with the BC yet due to not trusting them. Completely understand about seat time and better driver but suspension has a huge impact on a cars performance for drifting, with the little seat time I have I have a long ways to go till im defent but a better suspension will help out a lot over stock. What I was getting at is my stock suspension was blown and needed to be replaced so instead of buying stock I wanted to upgrade. Now that I upgraded I realized the BC aren't working out for me complete crap. So I'm looking around for a better set to get.
There is no doubt that they are an inferior coil over( many people gave you advice prior to your purchase), but sounds like you are concerned with getting sideways...All the drift nuts I used to know didn't drop a ton into the suspension unless they were running at a competitive level.
Just seems like a waste, without actually dialing your whole suspension in with drifting in mind. I think you need to figure out what exactly you want to do with the car drift or grip, and then set the car up accordingly.
Kyle wants what every ricer wants: comfortable daily driver that can be driven to/from the track w/ crazy grip, great handling, and drift'able all while being affordable. aka STi.

Sounds to me like you are set on drifting, not road racing, if that is the case go and try out the BC's first( you already paid for them). What exactly do you not trust about them? You may just have them set up wrong.

Honestly after driving around with the BC I really don't mind the to not be comfortable to drive since my intention is to pick up another car as my DD, maybe 2.5rs? Lol nah really in the market for a SUV. The new CR-V looks nice with decent gas mileage.

ha!!
