Never said they could not handle. I am just looking at the progression
The video you posted still does not discount the results I was referencing( still impressive though)
I'll put it to you this way, everyone expects a Z car to handle well, however no one would have expected a Camaro / mustang / or charger to follow suite, let alone outperform the flagship Z model....hence the progression....never said it couldn't handle though.

The 350Z in stock form has always been less then sub par.
Just going with a good wheel/tire combo makes the Z into a new car.
Didn't sport compact car mag ditch the staggered wheel setup on the 350Z and gain a bunch of cornering ability?

Zain, I was using the cars listed in reference to what Kat said about comparing cars of the same year.
With that in mind, am I incorrect about a 2004 Z handling better than domestic RWD cars of the same year in that price bracket?
I also think the charger didn't come till 2005/6, but the 2005/6 Z I am sure handles better than that car.
And Anh said don't use magazine times

You missed my point entirely, and I didn't realise Anh was the authority when it came to comparisons lmao. Lightning lap has been pretty legit for a while now, it's going on it's sixth year, and is one of the few tests I always enjoy reviewing.
In 2006 the charger was in fact slower than the Z ( the test car had all seasons to make matters worse) however the change in time between the 06 and the recently tested car was a decrease of 7 seconds , compared to the Z's decrease of .5 of a second ( from 350 to 370)
So in terms of progression dodge is on the right track, even after factoring in that the Z
handled well from the factory (that fact isn't being disputed)

It's not one article, it occurs once a year ( since 2006) here is the link to all the data points from the previous tests you can click on the specific vehicle and it will link to the appropriate years test
