Bert, <dumb question I know, but> I saw you guys rinsing off/getting water at the end of the trek. Is there a place to wash the mud off the bikes out there too?
If I buy a bike it'd be nice to ride, but there's no way in hell I could bring a muddy *** bike back to my **** condo community.

Not so much an "area" but there is a section near the main office with a hose connected to the building. But they've been handing out violations left and right to people lately and I'm already on their sh*t list due to my illegal blinds...

My Fiancee never mountain biked as a kid and now she goes down rock gardens it's amazing what a few months practice will do.

You could always rent a MTB for a day and give it a shot before committing.

My next tattoo session was moved from Thursday to Saturday so doubt you'll make it Alberto. Hopefully this is the final one. Although might need a touch up once everything is 100% healed.

Chances are they did a yearly inspection and this year the main thing they were looking at was windows/blinds.

At our neighborhood, last year they did their fall inspection and hit most homes up for a board that runs along the roof where paint was flaking. Almost everyone on my street received the same letter.

Grand Prix this weekend I'll be drunk Thursday night thru Sunday

 

I don't think they have any personal beef with me, but when I picked up my parking passes I asked what the deal was with the new 'gestapo' tactics and they told me the board came down hard for a lot of violations that had previously gone unnoticed and threatened someone's job. That 'someone' has been on a rampage lately going after everyone who owns/rents in my condo complex.

 

Car gets paid off tomorrow and I'm doing the 'broke baller budget' until payday. Been a bad year financially for me, but most everything will be paid off for me by December.
BUT, I can promise I'll be able to do a lot more activities next year...
