Goal achieved
Bigcloud - I do most of those exercises listed in your last post!! Mens Health Mag FTW!! I lost almost 40lbs from August 2010 through June 2011, went in for minor surgery in June and was on the shelf for months and gained 30lbs back.
Just spent some time with the doctor to get all sorted out and finally back working out on a regular basis again. Dropped 12lbs since lent started at the end of February. Got my diet on point and now the pounds are coming off with ease.
Grizzle - kicks or not, that is a whole mess o' pull-ups.
My wife is a Dr. Oz devotee so she is always getting me to eat new healthier things. She came up with this breakfast recipie that I have almost every day and it is actually awesome. Here it is:
1/3 cup Fiber One Cereal
1 Tbsp Pine Nuts
1/4 cup Walnuts
1 Tbsp Raisins
1 Tbsp Flax Seed
1/2 Bannana
1/2 cup Blueberries (fresh or frozen)
8oz Greek Yogurt (I use Chobani Vanilla)
You can add a rice cake in for filler if you want too. It fills you up and is like colon blow

HE DOESN'T DRINK!! That alone makes it much easier to stay on point with workouts and diet. Drinking leads to dehydration and usually poor eating choices followed by a lack of energy to workout the next day. Just sayin...
Not to mention he is the supplement king, LOL.
I read through a bunch of this guys blog/journal and this stood out to me...

I quit drinking every year for lent (40 days). I'm 4.5 weeks in now and its amazing how much more rested I feel and how I seem to accomplish much more in a day.
I read an article on drinking in Mens Health Mag a while ago that suggested that most people drink and extra days worth of calories in a given week. I drink SoCo and Coke or Dogfish Head 90min, both are ~300 calories a serving, easily drinking 2400+ calories in a week
On the plus side, that guys blog had a link to a stretching routine that I will start to follow and see if there are any benefits.
^ I just turned 30 Chris (I know I'm still a baby to you) but I am getting a lot more health conscious now. The one thing that I think has been keeping me in shape besides my fast Asian metabolism is the fact that I don't like sweets. I don't add sugar in my coffee, I don't take any cookies that coworkers offer, I don't ever eat desert after meals.
Now if I could say I don't have any craving for alcohol then I'd be lying!

Ethan - its never too late to start being healthy, I wish I would have kept it up after college. Sweets, alcohol and bagels are my downfall. I hollow out all my bagels now and just eat the shells and am working on a flagel (flat bagel) to sell in my stores.
Keep in mind that the alcohol metabolizes into sugar. That is why you wake up at 2am to pee and can't get back to sleep.

Drinking throws any diet out the window. A glass of wine or beer anywhere from 100-200cal each. And who just has one drink? I could probably lose 20 lbs without changing my diet if I quit cold turkey for long enough.
