Have to keep an eye on a certain family member so that he doesn't cause harm to himself or my parents since he is probalby going to be doing something that causes him to be in an altered state of mind.

I have gotten better times at Cecil, but I have only run at capitol 4 or so times.

I just disliked that track/crowd, so much so that I would run at mason dixon back in the day instead haha

but I have not been back to capitol since they refurbished it

I mean I did mostly 2.0 60 fts on my street tires without adjusting the pressure or anything..I'd say the prep/reconditions are pretty alright

Have you ran at MIR before?

Like I said I have not been back since they fixed the track, I consistently pull better 60's at Cecil, and better ET's as well

1.8's on street tires at cecil, and 1.9's at capitol

I have not run at MIR yet

Capitol has always had good short times. Lower traps generally though.

Cecil IMO is worse at the launch pad than Capitol but much faster track with higher traps and lower ETs.

Mason Dixon is sticky and ETs good but traps low. Slightly quicker than old Capitol I'd say.

MIR is the Mecca, sticky launch pad and high traps = record times no effort.

But what do I know I'm not a racer?

Running 1.8 on street tires makes me want to use the same tires as you....those are the Sumitomo HTR Z II's you do 1.8 on, right?

Yea but honestly they are cheap rice tires, I just make sure to give them a really good clean off before each run, I wouldn't bother buying them

OH I ran for my first time on radials at Atco that Sunday. Still couldn't do better than 2.0 60 ft. o_O. Derek said not to do a super burnout because that's too much for the radials, so I just burned out until the tires started smoking. I think I can go to 1500-1900 RPMs...idk about you, but it gives me a better 60 ft that way.

You still launch from idle?

Not sure why you would run radials with a stock stall... not really worth it

Nice runs dave. that 1.8 60ft was bogged out and you were shifting a bit early if I heard right. 1.7/1.6's and 11's in your future
