I've done it over 100 times and still purrs like stock... if the motor or tune isn't already messed up I'm sure you'll be fine. On 26" slicks you probably won't go over 7k anyways. My 119mph trap was at 6900 rpm. They actually get taller as you move down the track.

Edit: I'll try to be there, might not be running but either way I'll let you get some passes on the slicks.

RANDY will tell you that I did run a best of 13.9 (which is what I ran all day,) at Capital, and consistently trapped 102 MPH, with CONSISTENT 60 fts of 2.0. If any of you don't believe me I'll post my time slips when I get home.

 

Then at NIS at ATCO Raceway I did a best of 13.8

I do bear witness to sub 14 seconds run by the famous z racer shin. I think he did a 13.8 in the parking lot too.

Zain, remember I had a best of 13.7 stock....in the BEST conditions. I ran 13.8-.9 with bolt ons and it was 70-80 degrees.

EDIT: AND I trapped 96-97. It's obvious the bolt ons/tune are doing work.
