Default VIR Track Day May 4-5

Anyone down for going to the track day at VIR in May? Me and my friends have already signed up. Let's get a bunch of guys to go down and see what your cars can do on the full VIR course.

is insurance offered for an additional fee at trackdaze? I did not see an option for it.

Also for the novice run group (or in general with an instructor) do the seats have to be the same for driver and passenger? (I.e I have a sparco evo drivers seat, and an oem passenger seat)

C5 you normally can opt for insurance in the registration. I didn't see one as well. As for the different seats. As long as you pass tech inspection you will be fine. It would really be fun if we could get a bunch of Mid-A folks to take their cars on VIR.

C5 here is the company that you can get the trackdaze insurance from.

I guess trackdaze isn't offering it through their registration process anymore.

Heck let me come take the radiator out and to the shop. If you came you would already have one of the fastest cars there since your power levels are so high and your car is so light. You would have a lot of fun.

Would you want hills to retune the car?

Set some goals mannnnnn!!! Get that car running how you want!

Or you can take my Z to VIR. I'm taking my IS-F, but my Z is available.

This looks like a lot fun, I have never done anything like this before. Is it for rookies or people who have done HPDE before?

Hills is too pricey for my blood going to try another shop for 3/5 the price. I mean I know they are good but not to jusfity $400+ more for the tune. Might be pulling the rad this weekend not sure yet.

Edit:
Also need to find a place to mount the oil cooler / drill holes in the bumper.

Kyle it's for rookies as well. They have different groups.

Novice
Intermediate
Advanced
Instructor.

There are also different group colors.
green - novice
blue - intermediate (Can solo)
yellow - intermediate (Can solo)
black - advanced (Can solo)
red - instructor.

Great, count me in. Would like to get instructed on this. Anything required for the car to pass inspection? It's just stock with intake.

Ahh I see mutation. Mounting the oil cooler isn't too tall of a task.

Kyle awesome. You just have to register on www.trackdaze.com then get this form https://www.trackdaze.com/images/forms/inspection.pdf filled out by a shop. I normally go to http://www.funktionauto.com/ to get all of my track day inspections done. Seeing as they are farrr away from you maybe you could go to http://ispracing.com/home/ and have them do it. I've been to their shop a few times and they dyno'd my cars a couple of times as well. They do good work.
