Default My Dyno Results

Here are my final numbers. Tuned at PTuning, really nice and clean shop, also a pretty good customer service. What you guys think?

Your curve looks whack for both a DE or HR. What motor?

do dyno dynamics read higher than normal or lower? i know i've read something about them. also, did you have a baseline dyno (before tune?)

Generally they read lower than a dyno jet, however the numbers can be altered unless it's run in "shootout mode".

That's great to know. I'm planning on having them tune my DE once it's all buttoned up. I was AMAZED by the quality and professionalism of that shop.

It basically locks the correction factors so the numbers cannot be altered and uses pre-configured dyno settings (must select whp when doing this or it's useless).

Anway don't harp on the number, just look at the gains when compared to your baseline.

+100 on this. The only meaningful stat is comparing the number against baseline. By baseline we're talking about baseline previously done on the same dyno with all the same variables. Sadly no one likes to pay $80 to get that baseline done.

I know right. I went to this car show in Germany about a year ago and they had a mobile dyno in which I put my car on and made 254whp, then again everybody was complainig about the dyno giving low numbers. I have no idea where I put the results.

Wait. You took your car to Germany?

And also, 2 different dynos. So numbers mean nothing.

Anyway I'm pretty happy with the results, can't expect anything better than that, after all is N/A.

Glad you are happy. But you can expect much more. You can get much higher HP on an N/A Z than that.

You should look into the Tomei 264 cams for the HR. I am debating those for a "next year" mod. I made the same power as you on mustang dyno so those cams paired with some PPE longtube headers would hopefully land me around 330ish whp.
