Seems like we have decent weather to clean our cars on Fri, and perfect weather on Satruday for our show! Woohoo.

who all is meeting up at tysons II and at what time?
mind if my friend and i roll up with u guys to evolution?

 

Hey!!! It seems like a majority of the people are meeting at Tysons II...The NOVA folks are meeting at Tysons II initially, the MD and Richmond groups are meeting up at their respective places, then coming to Tysons so we can all roll to Evo from there. Should be quite a scene....There will be other S2k's there (and a handful of other breeds, I believe), so it's no problem. Just don't show up in a Pinto!

11:00....Tyson's 2.....Be there or be.....elsewhere.


A reminder to everyone....

1. Keep your head on straight. We don't want any tickets or accidents, and we DON'T want to get into it with store or property owners. I think it was Drew who suggested a quick group agreement on "road rules" before moving out, and I think that's a great idea.

2. If you have walkie-talkies or other two-ways, bring 'em! This many cars are bound to get separated, so if we can stay in contact, it'll make it easier to regroup. I think someone threw their nextel ID up, too...Those things rock!

3. Might not hurt to print out a map/directions before you come if you're not familiar with where Evo is. I know I am, even though I know the area pretty well.

You guys should know that the traffic lights will cause gaps if you're too big. Ended up breaking into 3 different groups that last time we meet at Tysons for the ride out to Dave and Busters. Just FYI.... Make sure you have directions to Evolutions.

Hey everyone. A few weeks ago my Z was hit from behind. It looks nasty but deffinatly fixable. I took it down to D and V Autobody in Chantilly hoping it would be done in time for this meet, but unfortunatly they have not been able to even get to it. Man the excuses they've given?!! You figure since they are going to be a part of this meet, they would at least make the effort to have a finished product in my car for them to show off a little. But I guess since the insurence company already paid them they decided to get to it when they get to it. THAT SUCKS! I have been looking forward to the first BIG meet of the year since my Greddy TT was installed at EVOLUTION. Has anyone else delt with this Body Shop??

Anyhow, I am still deffinatly going on Sat. I can't wait to see everyones RIDE! Make sure you Check out what Jeff has to offer at Evolution.

That sucks that your car got hit! You should definitely still roll in a Z to the meet, though. Maybe you can hook up with someone who has an empty seat. Where do you live?

 

damn... i feel for u man... that really sucks... right now my tranny is in the crapper too.... takin it to the dealer for a warranty fix up... no doubt u should go though... i woulda loved to have seen your gretty TT Z....

Sorry to hear about your Z, that definitely does blow

I've gone through D&V Autobody, their work is excellent no doubt, however I must agree with ya - as far as them getting things done on time I was not quite as happy. I went to get my wing painted + installed there, and they basically cancelled on me 2 separate times! Finally I was able to drop the Z off and have them do the work...so my advice would be just keep calling and bugging them til they get the job done.

But I dont want to make them sound bad, their work truely was superb. I still plan to get all of my body work done through them.

I may be present, but I'm really not sure if I want to bring my car since it looks so awful at the moment. After 250 miles on the track last weekend, my car is caked in mud, crap, rubber marks, and brake dust. Not to mention I melted something as I have a bunch of warning indicators on in addition to my other wildlife scars. Or maybe I'll just bring it the way it is so I can go for the "most utilized" look.

 

Cant make this one guys. I promised my friend I'd make it to his 1 year olds birthday party. I have to show up, I'm trying to date his sister in law too
