What kind of springs are you getting drew? Remember with that much drop you will need to get a camber kit.. You won't be able to get your stock specs with that much drop. You might want to consider shocks too, so you don't end up blowing them one day and get screwed.

Glad to see the two of you have looked past all of this. Friendship is more important than a simple case of miscommunication.

Anyone from Southern Maryland want to caravan up and over?

Since I don't have a 350Z, and my twin turbo S30 is no where near done, I'd figure I'll bring the Shiro out. Got to represent the old school....

Finishing up on the Blitz boost controller install...

Any other old school Z's coming?

Going with Espilar springs...

I've talked to couple of ppl with that 1.5" drop, even a 1.8" drop and they were able to get their Z's pulled into factory spec. Plus Mike (coldfusion) has the espilar springs, and loves them - 0 problems. But yeah I'm planning on getting the Koni shocks probly mid april or may, cause you're right the stock shocks probably wont last forever with those springs.

It is going to look siiiik

I am looking for 18" wheels (track wheels are good too). If any of you have it available (now or soon), Look for me at the Meet. I have a Brickyard with 17" wheels.

Tom.

ps: hey Ricky, sorry for stealing your thread, but this is a perfect time for me to bring this up.

Here's the menu for this Saturday. Let me know what you guys think.

We are having Pizza for lunch. Dominos and cheesesticks with wings.

And here are the FREE prizes we are giving away for the drawing.
Greddy T shirts with 350zz in the back, Espelir T-shirts in Black, Volk- Rays Engineering shirt in black/white, Tein Accs., and other etc. we are still debating on.

Drew...definitely keep in mind that you have some siiik-n-wide Volks (especially your rears). When you drop 1.5", and your Volk offsets are as they are...you're cruzin' for a puckered wheel well with stock shocks & poor dampers / long travel. The sooner you can get into some Konis...the safer your body wheelwell will be from damage due to bottoming out, etc.

Another contribution. I'm forwarding a flyer to MD Z Club to have it sent out to all the members. I'm also going to No. VA Z Club meeting tonight and handing out flyers...

There isn't a way to get the camber in spec unless you get a set of adjustable front A-arms / rear links. Once you install your springs, you'll need to have it aligned immediately to get the toe and caster in spec, as the toe will eat up your tires in the blink of an eye.

Hey Dragonz....I see you're in Ashburn. There's a couple of us meeting up at the Dulles Town Center at 10:30 then rolling out to Tysons. Wanna join us? If you do, we're meeting in the DTC parking lot right near the Jared's Jewelers. I'll shoot you a PM with my Cell #.

Installing the Injen version would involve either

a) removing front bumper

or

b) lifting the Z and removing the under diffuser.

I would be more than happy to install the intake as a short ram intake if you'd like, which doesn't require either A or B above, but I'm not sure if installing it as a full cold air intake where the filter is in the bumper is the best of idea's.

Bring it with you.. we'll see what happens!

Remember how I told you guys that clubrsx had a meet at Tysons 2 and the security said it was ok as long as ppl don't make noise.

Well, there were only about 20+ cars at the clubrsx meet. I don't know exactly how many cars going to be there this Saturday, at least 50+, just my guess base on the thread. This will hardly go unnoticeable.

Something to remember, when the security approach, and ask if we are having a meet. Say, we are just waiting for some more people to meet us here, and then we will leave. That what I said at the clubrsx meet, and the security left us alone.

But due to the huge amount of cars that going to be at Macy this Saturday, a busy day at the mall, lots of shoppers, things may not turn out as we plan. And Tyson 1 is not the alternative, because more ppl goes to Tysons 1 then 2. SO if for some reason, security don't want us there, I have a place in mind that we can go to, very big parking and it kind of remote, no cops really goes around there unless there is a concert. It not that far from Tysons, just about 2 miles from it. I'm talking about Wolf Trap parking lot, if you guys live around here, u may know the place am talking about. So if there is going to be trouble, I will lead to the place, and for those that come late and we already left for Wolf Trap, mainly those come from out of state or down south VA, call me (571-332-3894) and I will come back and pick you guys up, actually I will come back after I show the rest where it is, and wait for the rest of you then go to Wolf Trap to meet up with the rest.

Remember to be very quiet, and don't speed when you go in Macy. And hopefully they will not kick us out.

And kcobean, I may join you guys, if that ok. Look for a RSX. Call me, my cell is above. Thanks.

Can not wait.

And thanks for letting me come to your meet.
