Come to Capitol Raceway this Friday night, 11/12/04, to race or watch! Gates open at 5, racing starts at 5:30. One of the last few track days of the year! Would love to get a whole bunch of Z's up there racing.

Awesome, ill be there. Yea that would be a great chance to get some times down before the winter sets in. Also if we have cool weather this friday my Z should run better than ever. Hope to see more Z drivers at capitol

 

Do you have to have a helmet for this?

Anyone from NoVA going? I'd be interested in going if anyone else is making the journey up there.

 

Cars that run under 14 in the 1/4 are supposed to have a helmet. Dial in at 14.1 or so and you can usually get away with 2 runs without having to use a helmet. Spread the word!

 

So did anybody end up going? What did everybody run?

I will more than likely be there this Friday. I have a helmet and I can also borrow my roomate's helmet. If someone needs one they may borrow it for the run as long as I get it right back.

It's supposed to be a nice cold evening on Friday so everyone is going to be getting some nice times. Chances of rain though.

 

Its raining like a **** right now. Looks like this isn't going to happen today.

 

ok yea of course its been cancled but im going to start a new thread after this
NOVEMBER 26th is the LAST weekend of the year that capitol raceway will be open. I recomend that you get your last run in THEN. The weather will be cold and dense and great for your engine. Lets hope it dosnt rain again. Ide like to see a good show up of Z drivers on the 26th until spring when we will all meet again!
