We are hard at work on the fueling stuff. The first race should be interesting. I am very excited about this car. This is one of the best balanced "showroom racers" I have driven. We need some more ponies but like the add says......power is nothing without control.

We are running Motons for shocks.....the best for tin top racers ...
We are actually running a Recaro seat out of the Porsche Gt3RS.
Sparco is a sponsor for shoes,gloves,driver suits, cre uniforms,dead pedal, shift **** (as soon as we make a new shift rod) belts and other products.

How many of the power upgrades will you have ready for Daytona? ie will you have the ECU & headers. Daytona is all about power. I was looking at the facility in AL and that track looks awesome. I am definetly going to try to make it as well as VIR. Keep us informed.

As some of us who have had the car out to the track have seen, the stock ECU is a problem. Although the VDC can be switched off, there is some portion that remains constantly active and cuts fuel pressure just when you need WOT!
Downshift- will you develop a new ECU and fuel mapping system or will you simply run something like a motronic aftermarket system on your 350Z?

Your skidpad description might not activate the VDC. Where I noticed it clearly was in a tight hairpin. After transitioning off the brakes and getting the car pointed towards the apex of the turn, I could not get WOT or any significant throttle response. The car is still experiencing significant cornering load (in your skidpad incident, did the g-forces drop after the quick spin, even as you were going back to WOT?) and there is clearly something at work here.
I asked a racer who works for Nissan to check with an engineer on this. They confirmed that VDC is never completely off, even after we hit the off button. It's a problem we are going to have to deal with!
