Default Wow! Insane race with an M3!

I was coming home from work and I was on a 2 lane road that's about 2 mile long with a set of lights about every 1/2 miles or so. The road eventually leads to RT.95 where I was headed. The road had moderate traffic and the entire time a late 90's shape Black M3 was somewhat antagonizing me by driving aggressively behind and next to me and looking over at me but there was too much traffic to even bother reacting. After looking at it and checking it out (he eventually passed me cuz I was in the slower moving lane of course) I seen he had one of those exhausts with 2 outlets that bend upwards and some other stuff like clears in the front. So I ended up switching lanes and got directly behind him toward the end of the road and was praying he would hit the on ramp to the highway and he did.

Now about 15 miles North of Mass RT 95 is a 4 lane highway and since were headed away from boston the traffic was fairly light. So as we head up the on ramp I down shift into 2nd (now going about 40ish) and about 50 feet before the end of the ramp we both go WOT. I went nearly to redline in every gear up till 140-145mph (fastest I went before this was about 125) and from say 40-140 MPH I reeled him in and began walking him up until about 140-145 when I cut it off.. What a rush, I started about 2 car lengths behind him (from the on ramp) and ended up about 2-3 car lengths in front of him, kinda hard to tell since we were 2 lanes apart.. Probably in the top 5 races I ever been involved in ever. After we slowed back down to 70ish and he pulled up to the right of me and opened the window as I did also, I really couldn't make out what he was saying but I did hear "that was sick" and he gave me a thumbs up and I did back to him.. He looked like he was in his late 20's or so. Its very rare you find somebody that will race much over 120... This was my first real race in my Z

Good run. Those late 90's shape M3 can be a handful but it sounds like you were up for it. Speed is such a cool thing.

Nice run.....

The reason most people don't run over 120 is cause it's insane on public roads...lol.
I ran my 95GT up past 150 before and decided I would never do it again. Your going so fast, your in a clear spot of traffic...you let off, and your up in traffic still blasting at 100-120 mph.

I'm not scared of the speed...just scared of someone not seeing me and pulling in to my lane...next thing I know, they're riding "shot gun" in my car with me. lol

Those new M3's are pretty silly, but I would race one without a second thought, I would race a McLaren if given the chance, its all about the thrill and fun of it.

I'm telling this because I run with one last week, its was a 02 convertable, the roof was down, he was in front of me by 2 cars he saw me and step on it and stay the 2 cars on front all the way, we run from 45 to 105 aprox.

I know some people don't gonna believe me but I dont care I now what the Z is capable off.
