The z motor is pretty pumped from the factory..the biggest difference between it, and the Maxi/Alti. is the intake and exhuast systems...as far as that goes the z car is pretty much tweeked.. the biggest gains would be by raising the redline and installing cams...being able to go 7500 rpm....would make it scream.
I'm just suprised no Z Cars r in the low 13's all motor, yet.
Cuz if i can run what i do in my 4 door, then i'm sure a Z car can do better.

Why are you suprised there are no 350s in the low 13s??? The only real hp mods out so far are intake and cat-back exhaust. It took the max/alty crowd a year and a half of the cars being out to have one or two of them go all motor in the entire country...I won't expect any Zs to go low 13s on street tires until we get some headers, chip, and cams out...My Z should be in the mid to low 13s next month on the stock motor....I have a little trick up my sleeve...

I am because the Z , is Nissans Sports car with no rear seats, and from the factory the motors are rated 40 hp more then the same motor in the Maxi/Altima, and there r intakes/exhuast/crank pulleys/grounding kits out...That that should be worth some thing.. my ride ran a 13.8 with only a intake and catback... i figure a good driver on a good day in Z car should be atleast .4 tenths faster.
Good luck on ur trip to the track..make some of ur Z car guys proud

We'll see how people more people do stock when it warms up here in the midwest...we have some of the quickest tracks in the country. There still haven't been that many people that have run their cars.
