My Z attended its first AutoX this Sunday. It was a beutiful day. 3 350Z's turned out. We had a great time. Our cars were great. I thought it would be hard to drive. Expecially for me (my last car was a Mr2spyder, that was perfect for AutoX) but it was a piece of cake. I think with the aid of VDC a 13yr old could have done it and turned out a nice time. Although VDC hurts your time a little. I tried it both ways. Results are going to be posted tonight Ill let you know how we did.

 

I was stuck inside writing a paper on the early evolution of nuclear foreign policy all of saturday and sunday. Otherwise there would have been an extra 350z at the autox. A lot of my friends ran though. What was your best time? My friend in a 98 red impreza rs (gc8) ran a 38.4 for the win in STSN. I can't wait till the next autox around here that I can go to.

 

I ran a 40.002, and a track model was fastest in the BS class he ran a 37.689. He had attended the school the day before. Ill see you at the next one I guess.

If Im reading that right I got first place in the B stock class. It says the track 350Z was in the TB stock. I dont know what that means, but maybe he was in a different class because he had attended the track the day before.

 

Congrats & cool. I would hope you beat the VDC , it seems a little slow to recover, but I'd like to see my times both ways too! That was a good idea. Sounds like fun, I have to find something liek that where I can really try it out. I drive quick but can't really play at the edge on the street.
