Default A nice reminder why having big turbos doesn't make you faster...

Well, it took me two weeks to get this photo DL'd, but I wanted to show a lot of people why big-turbo'd cars don't necessarily get you around the track as fast as you may think. Yes, this was an inexperienced driver, who had a car that was obviously too powerful for him. This is a good example as to why people should learn how to drive their car stock so that they can actually make use of their modifications. I can't imagine how unstable the rear end of this car gets when the boost kicks in. I took this photo right after T3 at Summit Point, and yes, the track was dry of any snow and this was the first caution lap of session 1 of the day...

OUCH! Yeah, I agree. Rear wheel drive and big horse power is a dangerous combination. Especially with turbo charged cars, because when turbo kicks in, you instant produces a large number of horse power. No matter how fat your wheels are, traction will always be a problem. Drive safely guys & gals.
