Default Owned by an Acura TL (or CL)

Not sure what one it was, probably the higher HP version, anyway was just cruising along at the speed limit (60)
and realised I needed to be on the right lane to exit soon, so I checked my mirror on the right and saw some blue car about a cars plus length in that lane, so for safetys sake I speed up a little to give myself and the other fellow some space
but apparently he was'nt having it, he's still in the same position to my car, so I step on it a bit more, he's STILL there..I did'nt want a race but before I knew it I was approaching 80 and he was pulling on me, I could'nt out accelerate him. I slowed considerable as a car was ahead of and his lane was clear ahead, so off he went ahead of me, cutting into the left lane up ahead .

I was just kinda pissed I could'nt even pull on him (not that I had intended to) but FYI dont mess with any Acura CL/TL's..

Talking Thats some funny $hit!!!!!!!!

Easily doesn't even begin to explain it. My brother has a TL-S and on the highway, I pull on him by like 2 cars. You might wanna downshift next time to 3rd and you'll be fine. The break off point is 83 on 3rd if my mind serves me right and you will embarass the $hit out of any TL or CL.

Were you in 6th gear when you did that? The CL-S and TL-S are sleeper up till 3rd gear. After that they're snails.

something you need to LEARN, if you EVER think you are going to beat somebody by NOT going 100% and NOT downshifting etc.....you will be VERY dissapointed in almost EVERY car. If you are going to run, stop embarrassing yourself and the Z world and get on the FREAKING gas and downshift!!!!! otherwise CIVICS will take you, sure they are whinding out at 6000rpms, but learn to watch your butt.

The CL-S 6 speed is a mean car on top end. My friend's CL-S Raped a s2000 from 70 on, although I beat both of them...

.....stock for stock i don't see a cl-s giving a Z a run unless something went wrong somewhere. I know this because a Z is faster than my car and i can take a cl-s.

yes of course i agree with u on that. point is CL-S is not slow, and fixed up it can most def. give a Z a good run. But yea fixed up cars can range in power and it's too hard to determine how quick they really are until u go up against one.
