Default Highway race with a Modded Supra TT

I was pulling out onto a 2 lane highway type road and as I was rounding the on ramp I see red Supra TT probably a 96-98 year pass by. It was all shined up, a huge shiny 1 outlet exhaust and i'd say 20 inch chrome rims and some small performance stickers on the back side window, really sharp looking.

So I gassed it onto the highway and caught-up with him, he gassed it too because I was going close to 100 to catch him, then I pulled up next to him and we slowed to about 60 and I looked in, it was a Jamician guy with dreads, he looked very familiar and I think I might of seen him before at the dragway.

Well then he kinda pissed me off, we were side by side going 60 and I was in 3rd all ready, he does NOTHING!! No car in sight either and its a dead straight away. So after about 10 seconds of nothing I sped up to about 70 and shifted into 5th and cruised, I look in my side view and he's about 5-6 car lenghts back, then I notice he starts coming up on me REALLY fast, he was almost at my rear bumper before I got it into 3rd and mashed it so he had a HUGE head start, he pulled past me at a decent clip and kept pulling slower and slower till we were at about 120 and his gain slowed to a walk at about 3-4 car lenghts infront of me. Then we shut it down and I felt very unsatisified, I HATE it when people do that crap, if there gonna race why do they have to do dumb stuff, we had the perfect chance all lined up at 60 then he has to go do a fly by. I feel cheated.. He should of walked me pretty good from 60 and worse if it was modded more than that exhaust which by the sound of it it probably was.

Maybe he was just chilling and didn't wanna race?

Then you made him mad so he decided to go.

Kinda like waking a sleeping giant.

WEll....depends---if you notice on all the Supra video's-they always race from a roll(they normally suck from a dead stop)-Have 2 friends w/ BPU++ & BPU+++ MKIV's--and they said they are hard to get traction--I think w/ a Good launch--you would jump the MKIV and maybe keep it up to stay in front(STOCK THAT is)
But you'll never come across a Stock MKIV to try--so good luck!

I hate that fly by **** too!

I actually went up last night and got off 3 runs.. You can see the info here: https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....388#post273388

I mounted a removabled 7 inch screen DVD player where the nav would be and it really helps pass the time in the pits between runs.
