FWIW, on stock tires (and stock suspension for that matter) my SS pulled a 1.95 and backed it up with a 1.97 right after. I ran behind a car with slicks I'm not sure if everyone here is aware of that but a well prepped track and having a nice sticky patch of rubber from a dragster with slicks running right before you can make even hard street tires hook like a good drag radial.

I was talking about that Bcioli guy on the first page that said he went 12.66@111.9 stock in his LS1. I dont doubt Mr Potatoe Head. I was just surprised at the mph he got, 111.9 has to be some sort of record for a stock LS1 F-body. Anyway sorry about the confusion.

Are you saying that for stock F-bodies or stock Z06's? Or anything on street tires on either car???

Go register at Z06vette.com and call out JRod and others that have cut those types of 60' times on the stock Goodyears if you don't believe it...

and if you're saying that those times aren't possible for anything on street tires, then you need to do a little more research...

well..as long as we are all on the same page now LOL..

My guess is he had an extremely healthy high 12 car already (108~109mph stock traps). That could explain it.

I was talking about stock F-bodies...on stock Goodyears. I guess it may be possible but I have NEVER seen it for f-bodies.

I'm not talking about a Z06 ....thats an entirely different animal.

I guess that short time would be possible with a badass track.....but like i said i've never seen it.

Hey Jam you live in Waco. Come to Ennis when we go since Ennis is about half way between all of us. You know, sometimes I wish I still had the old Z28.

By the way sukkoi, BCioli didn't run my car down the track and I never ran 111 if that is what you are reffering to. I posted my slip and it is a 109.9. Cool, thanks.

Oh was he claiming that for your car??? I was under the assumption that he was referring to a car of his own. If not I was just surprised that he managed a 111 mph trap stock. Although I just saw an 01 Z28 put down 344 hp completly stock so I guess he could have another one of those factory freaks.
