You can't see the badge on the side of the Z06? Its pretty obvious.. as far as the Mach1 .. its right on the trunk deck.. pretty much right in plain sight.. Attention to detail people..cmon..

 

Also the mach 1, doesn't come in any of the nice flashy sparkly colors, they are all just the flat reds, blues, blacks, and oranges.
The z06 also has the functional side scoops.

 

The Mach 1 has the black stripe down the side on the bottom and the black stripe on the hood. Like this.



I need to find a Z to race so I can make my own opinion on which is faster!

 

The Mach's are underrated from factory. Stock they are putting down what 2001 Cobra's did(rated at 320bhp), and with more torque.

So basically what some of you, Z owners, are implying is that a Z can now keep up with the Cobra's from a stop/roll?

Zogan, good run, but their are plenty of GT's trying to imitate the Mach1's by getting the shaker hood and Mach chin-spoiler added on. Chances are if you didn't see the badging, which is very noticeable, then it was a GT fronting as a Mach.

More fuel to the already brewing fire....My Mach 1 ran a 13.2 at 106.5. I love the looks of the Z but it is down on power compared to the Mach 1.

I don't really care about it, I don't pay attention to mustangs really, it was had the same stripe as the picture shown.

 

Sorry man its just one of those things.. I don't pay much attention to mustangs either..but if Im going to run them.. I get all the details I can. What good is a kill story without the facts?

 

thats why I left it open. I wasn't for sure, I didn't want to post and say it was a mach 1, when I don't know for sure.

 

A lot of people get the scoop, the stripe, the wheels, the wing from, add the "R" or "V6" or "V8" or "TT" or "Spec-V" or "GT" etc. etc. to make their car look like the upper models, so figuring out what you're looking at is like a small puzzle sometimes . Especially if you don't know much about the car in the first place.

Joeshow - If you pay attention to cars...people who try to fake their cars always screw up the emblems.. Ive never seen a fake anything that looked genuine ... or even close.

Hell we have a halfassed lightning in town.. V6 F-150 converted Posers.

Well is depends on what saleen it was, if in fact it was a real saleen.
theres a s281, which is just basically a body kit stickers and minor mods pushin about 285hp.
then u have the sc281 which is supercharged 365 hp.
then the s281-E 425-hp.

Im thinking you either pulled on a fake saleen or a base model one.

 

We were just discussing this with some friends not 15mins ago in a parking lot..!!!! LMAO! Info is dead on.

 

it was the S281 the one I pulled on. I dont own a 350Z, I own a Maxima putting down 321HP to the ground.

Don't worry pal....If your Z is stock, you don't have to look at it long...The Mach will be pulling away off in the distance.

As I said the Z is a nice looking car, but it is down on power compared to the Mach.
