pulled z28 by 4 lengths

at the light this 97 stock z28 revved at me, he told me what year it was , so i knew it was an lt1. i took him off the line and was like an inch ahead of him when shifting into 2nd, then i started to pull about a half a carlength , by 5600 rpm @3rd gear i was already 1 3/4 around 2 car lengths ahead of him, and still slowly pulling, we got up to 90 and i was around 3, he was still tagging behind , i went up to 125mph on city streets (45mph zone) and i'm not sure if he quit or not at 110 mph , but it was fun.

How do you know you were so far away from him while racing? Those are pretty precise estimates (even with the RPMs) while concentrating on driving fast. 3-4 carlengths is actually pretty far and hard to judge while you're in the car. I'm just curious how you're measuring everything. I can understand it at the track, when someone might be witnessing and tell you or if there was a video...

Whoa buddy, that was just my perspective. you realize that i have the ability to look sideways and at my rear view mirror. Hey, believe it or not , i was pulling him pretty good by 60+, and around 4 car lengths by 100 + , fine, let's not start a flame, let's just all agree on this infamous fast and the furious saying:

You must be a phenomenal driver to be constantly checking how far away your competition is (accurately, no less!) while racing up to 100+ mph on a city street and still checking your RPMs down to a precision of 100.

I'm truly deeply sorry for being so "precise". I offended your beliefs in the fallicies of human error. Only Jesus would be able to track down the rpms down to the exact numbers. Had i reported my rpms down to the exact tenths like 5610/5620/5622 rpms, you would have raised the B.S flag. I'M SORRY! I'M NOT HUMAN, I AM AN AGENT IN THIS MATRIX.

Im not quite sure what your talking about most of the time..but nice kill. It is pretty hard to judge distance..however you guys have to realize at higher speeds car lengths are pretty close to 1 tenth difference... obviously the faster the cars..like 2 10 second cars...a few tenths difference in HUGE. 4 car lengths is easily believable. I normally leave stock LT1s by about 2~3 lengths by 70~75mph. So easily believable. As said before Nice kill.
