Stock for Stock the Z.
For 2 bux the srt can crank the boost and walk a Z though. But If i wanted to beat everything on the road I would have bought an R1.......think about it.

The SRT4 is an awesome bang for the buck and is only slightly slower stock for stock vs a Z.

i've raced an srt4...
they're impressive...
We raced from a dead stop twice, and I had him off the line. I guess he wasn't a good launcher, but he stayed near me the whole time. We didnt get to drive that far ( less than a 1/4 mile i believe) so I'm thinking I could've left him behind in the long run...
Overall I think the Z can beat it...but not by that much.

With this said, I would still take a 350z hands down over a SRT-4. Still, this is the first non-viper chrysler product that got my attention.

beauty etc. is in the eye of the beholder....
Sticking your nose up in the air does not make your car better (not saying you are trying to do that but it sure sounds like it).

Driver's race...stock for stock.
The "it's still a Neon" arguement is something similar to what BMW owners say about our cars, so I don't buy into it. On the other hand, if I did own an SRT-T car I would catch alot of **** from my coworkers like, "you own a FRICKIN' NEON."
A local tuner here in Phoenix, AGP, trapped 108.164 with only a boost controller and a wastegate actuator. The time was only 13.7 but obviously traction limited.

Yeah, enough about all this "its still a neon" don't forget that these are the same people that make the SRT-10 which is "still a dodge" but will still blow your doors off...The SRT-4 only costs 19K yet will show taillights to the likes of... 2002 and below Audi S4's, The Audi TT, 2000 and under BMW M3's, The Porsche Boxster S, Mercedes Benz SLK's, the BMW Z4...these are all Premium German Sportscars and Roadsters and they all sticker for atleast double the $19,000 paid for an SRT-4 which is an small economy sedan if you forgot...so stop comparing yourself to it, and if bashing it helps you feel better about yourself then thats cool too but don't forget you still drive a "Nissan"

I would think the SRT4 would win this little pissing match too. It puts down almost as much power to he wheels as the 350Z, yet is much lighter as well...
If I owned a 350Z, I would race an SRT4 from a stop only.....

The only 350z came in a very impressive 13th overall (ahead of a new Mitsubishi Evolution, but behind a Probe GT). The One Lap is an event where cars are run flat-out on 7 or 8 road-racing courses, a dirt oval, skidpad, and a drag strip across the US in a span of a week.

saying "its still a neon" cannot be compared to "its just a nissan" Practically every car company puts out a top of the line car, and a bottom of the line car. The neon is the pos bottom of the line shitbox from dodge. Nissan makes the Sentra. I don't care if the Sentra ran 10s from the showroom floor. Its still a sentra, and the neon is still a neon.
