This time I fared a bit better... ALMOST 13's but no dice. I went to Long island motorsports again, but the track conditions were terrible. Even the best drivers had trouble getting under 2second 60fts.

I think that with some smarter shifting with my current mods i can definitely hit 13's. Borla dual exhaust and UD pulleys here I come!

Hey Ben whats up? I see that your times are getting better..Good job. How were the weather conditions? Next time its cool and dry I want to go to the strip. My friend has a mod Pontiac GTP and did 14.1 Going to race him soon. He already beat a 6sp Z by the way. Its going to be close..

 

Jon - There were some two GTP's there on Saturday actually. The guy I talked to was running 14.4 - 14.5 all day. A bunch of RSX and DSM guys showed up. But the strip was relatively empty. I was toying with different launch techniques, got about 25 runs in. The left lane is crappy, bumpy and on an incline. I will never run in the left lane ever again.
