automatic racing techniques
I am really interested in learning how to race. I am not talking about just street racing. I am talking about any kind of racing: drag racing or any kind of course racing. I know most comes from experience but I would like to know some beginner techniques on how to race an automatic. I can't really find any good technique websites.
I know the one question that I have is, Will it hurt my transmission if I rev in neutral and shift into drive? I really know nothing about racing auto's. please help me...

You should register for an advanced driver's school. Since you're in Jersey, your best bet might be the BMW CCA--NJ Chapter. They run events at Lime Rock and Summit Point. Anyway, a school is the way to go!
