Default 6mt 350Z vs Acura CLS auto vid

Cool video from a post at acura-cl.com. It's H@mmerman's Z racing one of the guys at acura-cl.com. Both drivers were good sports about it, and the CL did well considering it was an auto. Enjoy. Please no Acura bashing in this thread...not why I posted.

Zeroday... MattG's CLS is FAR from bone stock. He has headers, intake, pulleys, exhaust, lightweight rims, etc.... N/A though

Also, the Z was running in third gear instead of second due to a starting roll at 50mph, so that's why it took some time to gain on the CLS.

I'm a former CLS owner, so I give it props, but a stock CLS would be no match for a Z

My close friend has a CL-S. It's a closer race than I'd like it to be. It's a shame that Acura didn't make it RWD. I would've gotten one in a heartbeat.

I was ahead of them while they video taped the run. They wanted to get a run taped with me to see what kind of difference my minor mods made. Hammer has the grounding kit. I have that too, along with a nismo exhaust and k&n drop in. We ended up in town before we had a chance to do a run.

Yeah, mattg has the fastest N/A CL-s on the boards. (3.2CLS that is) So, his car is definately no slouch.

Notice after I stated the "fastest CL-s on the boards," I put (3.2 CL-S that is.)

You have the 3.5L upgrade. I know your 1/4 mile times.

No, I was not too worried.

If we had done a rolling start at 40 MPH (2nd gear) or 60 MPH (powerband in 3rd gear) he woulda been spanked.
