just a quick update (non power related!)
We thought the paint work would be done in time for Hot Import Nights...but the lovely humid weather we've had here all week means painting, especially a metallic, is a no-no, so I decided to wait till the weather breaks a bit to do it. However, we got the custom work done to my hood (I don't think anyone has done this yet...I'm excited to see the final results!), new bumper and sideskirts are prepped ready for paint, and my good friend Ceasar at Lightwerkz totally hooked it up on a set of 06 Headlights WITH retrofit!!!!!
Pics and details to follow soon guys, I promise. Once the paint work is done, its back to the dyno for retuning, and maybe that Cosworth intake manifold will be ready to go then!

I thought I read that you used a revup engine for this build. I just looked back at the first pictures and it seems like your motor is not a revup.
I guess I'm curious why you didn't go with a revup for this project... Seems like it would have made a bit more power... Maybe an ECU/wiring conflict with your car?

no it's not a revup
if you are building a motor as I did (forged pistons, rods, all balanced and blueprinited) it would make zero difference whether you started with a revup or non revup. Not to mention, a revup into a non revup car would require a ton of rewiring, a complete standalone ecu, all for no gain whatsoever

mainly just going to be tuning related Chris. But, we've been really focused on getting the body work wrapped up, so I honestly have not even driven the car in a couple weeks (except to last weekends show). I want to get the body work done, then tackle the rear main seal leak (the reason I have not used it), then we'll retune and take it from there

but his is 6MT. I own a Z, dont get me wrong(and love it). but if you wanted to spend all that money on a build to try to beat a c6, why didnt you just go out and buy a c6, which is still going to beat your build. A stock ls2 will put down anywhere from 360-370whp stock. Consider the vette weighs the same if not less as your Z...the vette would eat it. On the other hand you can pick on the vette's fat little brother aka the goat, weighing in at 3700lbs and you might not get pulled on that bad. Cool build for a Z, but if you want some stock lsX runs, you know where to find us in ATL on friday and saturday nights
