yah, the guy that put mine he used a press too. he also had the bushing sit in dry ice to help ease it in. the mj motorsport/dm2 bushing has a very tight tolerance

Curtains are finally coming down. I applaud your patience and thoroughness on this entire project. There aren't many men out there that could have done what you did. Bravo!

There is always that 370 N/A project to start!

Hey Adam, did you choose the 1/4' inch spacer for any particularly reason? I'm wondering about the plenum volume vs. cam relationship for my car. Did you test the 5/16" or 1/2" against it?

It was all that was available at the time, and was more than enough according to the flow tests, etc my machinist did. He didn't see any point in going bigger with the setup I had, and all the modifications he did to the intake setup I was running was based around that spacer. Now I've replaced it altogether with the Cosworth though

Thanks for that! These projects are a pain in the ***, and each one I've done for the last 15 years has been more of a challenge than the last. But that's what makes it interesting and fun, so I guess I'm a glutton for punishment

Final dyno #'s are here with me from the tune, but I'll wait till its on a Dynojet to spill the beans. The car feels great though, and I'm just loving the fact that it's at my disposal, instead of me being at her disposal!

With so much less weight on the clutch and flywheel how is daily driving? Is it hard to maintain revs for launching or even in between shifts?

I never launch the car (since it's just street driven) so I really can't answer that. I have not had any issues between shifts at all

so I'm thinking about making a legit cold air intake box...insulated, larger volume, the whole 9 yards. I also need a larger intake pipe as even the 3 inch one is proving a bit small

anyone ever do anything like this before? Wondering if aluminum is the right choice, or perhaps a fiberglass box?

^mock it up with fiberglass and make it in carbon. Will be doing this for the G35 and the Genesis Coupe in near future.

my only concern with either is how well they will do with under hood temps in the long term. That Supra is nice and all, but who knows how much use it actually gets. I'll pm you though on it, you would know better than I

Will do. If it's made correctly, the carbon box will be fine and shinier than say a hood over a period of time.

A friend of mine just got a new 370Z with auto box, I'm impressed, the HKS guys say they have a good true dual exhaust and intake, it may do better than my car after that as it is already close from 0 to 100kph.
