The empty space on both sides of the cluster...I've got it. Side view cameras for parallel parking. LOL.

Sick cluster.

I hopefully will have it in the car by next weekend

balancing session #1 result:

balancing session #2 result (all completed!)

The amount of work this requires is insane...I just hope it is worth it

For those curious about the inner workings of a Quaife LSD

Looking good. Let us know how it feels once installed. I imagine you need to get to the track for some trial runs first to really know though. No rush :P

the color of the dash is shown pretty well on your product page:

comes across less bright.

yep, I forgot about that picture!

the brightness is all controlled within the software, both of the backlight display as well as on the shift lights too

the next adventure is figuring out the easiest way to display fuel level No long trips till that is solved!

looking at the pic above, looks like it has a GPS sensor (correct me if i'm wrong). does it display vehicle speed from the wheel or actual speed off the GPS?

there are 2 models, a datalogging version, and a non logging (called the display dash). I opted for the normal display dash.

The logging one takes speed via GPS, but the std. display can easily display speed as well - its just configured through the software. Just a few clicks of the mouse and mine worked perfectly (you can display MPH or KPH). Only thing I need to work on now is the fuel level display

Quick update:

Just been driving the car as much as I can, and enjoying it. I decided to forgo any additional tuning or dyno's till the spring though. I've been back to thinking about headers, and should I decide to pull the trigger on SG's or a set of my own, it would seem most prudent to wait to retune until that time. With winter on the doorstep, to spend the money to retune again plus the associated travel expenses, etc, seems a bit pointless. This way I'll have all winter to mull over if I even want to do a new set of headers, and then when we get to March or so, can do the tuning then.

In other news, the 4.3 rear is DONE!!!! Got the call yesterday and it should be in my hands next week. I cannot wait to try this thing out, I think it's going to be a ton of fun given the rest of my setup. The fact that a pile of parts that had no business going together was turned into a custom essentially 1 off unit is pretty neat. The bill - not so nice unfortunately The man hours involved in getting it done were through the roof - I'd say around 150 hours total. Crazy crazy stuff! I'll have another post on our blog tonight with some new pics and whatnot, and then update things with some video once it's installed in the car.

Lastly, we're getting my hood finally painted again and back on the car - the c west that I've had for a couple years where we shaved the side vents out (those vents are the ones Chebosto now sells - they came from my hood ). Never was really happy with how it came out originally, as it was a bit wavy in some spots, so we decided to take the time and make it perfect. Another project that took on a life of it's own, as I'm just **** about how it turns out. I am sure it will have been worth it!

Sorry if this was covered, but are you using the factory fuel system (injectors, FPR, fuel pump) and if not would the factory system be capable of your setup?

I am running a totally factory fuel setup with the exception of injectors, which are now 380cc (I was using stock ones previously). We upped the injector size as a measure of caution in preparation for the ITB's, but since I kicked that project to the curb, we just decided to stay with them. I have had a SARD 180 lph pump waiting in the wings since I did the engine in 07, but as of yet, have not had any need for it
