They are mostly dress up items. Not to mention they aren't cheap at all, so from a cost vs. benefit perspective they are not worth it.

The bowing and high-fiving in Japan has just ceased.

from a cost benefit perspective not much we do NA is worth it... from a gratification and challenge standpoint it is.

To me there is no "gratification" or any "challenge" in a $125 grounding kit.

1.The OP had made mention of the SUN automobile products that he planned on purchasing. Perhaps you are not familiar with who SUN auto is and what products they make or how much their products cost, if not you can look them up yourself on google.

2. YOU quoted MY post. My post that was referring to the cost/benefit of the OP purchasing SUN auto products.

That should clear up what that has to do with this thread and what that has to do with your post.

SUN is deff japanese... like there is no doubt about it

http://www.sunautomobile.com/company.htm

oh and speaking of japanese, does anyone know of oberon fluids? I see alot of japanese racing companies/ tuner garages using it and I looked on the oberon site and it was supose to be eco friendly oil or something like that.

I do see some 350z's with some of the SUN products. I would think the grounding would be good.

My post trailed your comment about “cost/benefit”… all I stated was that not much in terms of NA has a positive “cost/benefit” – however there is a challenge and gratification that makes it worthwhile for some of us.

Can we get off the SUN product and ground wires… as it has nothing to do with what I mentioned.

dont very high duration cams drop compression significantly....i thought it was recommended when going very high duration to increase compression. i dunno how much validity this holds as i have no experience on the subject.

I dont think so, the reason you usually increase the cr. is because higher comp. will gain power up top and will compliment the long duration cams.
More overlap will decrease vacuum, but not compression, as both valves are closed during the compression stroke.

Some of you might want to look up the difference between static and dynamic compression.
