Im not sure yet, the car will be weighed when the car is aligned and balanced at Bello Motorsport next week. I do know that the car is going to be lighter even with the cage since we cut out over 60lbs of metal in the rear of the car. The A/C is gone as well. Havent run with the JICs yet...also ordered the Nismo bushing kit. This car is going to be stiff as hell!

You might have already said this, but type and diameter tubing are you using. I am going to see if I get just the cage behind my seats installed, since my is still my daily driving.

NASA Rulebook requires 1.75" piping, .120 thick for cars over 3000lbs competition weight.

Well the verdict is in, not racing next weekend...just not gonna be able get the car put together. Sebring is in 4 weeks, registered for that event as well.

Havent updated in a while but the car is just about done. Interior is beautifully painted and the car just looks real clean. New JICs just went on today so it will be off to get aligned and balanced Friday. Should be bringing her back home this weekend. No pics to post, but ill get some when she is complete!

Are you going to be running a fire suppression system of any kind?

I've been toying with picking one of these up while they are on sale:

So she is finally home. Still have a few small things to do before Sebring, like brake ducts, kill switch, etc. But she is pretty much complete and is a blast to drive. Waiting on the nismo bushing kit to get her aligned so no final weight yet. She feels like she picked up 25whp from the reduction though. Drives like a gokart. We still want to put back a few dash panels to clean it up a bit. Here are some pics!

Ran her today at the NASA Sebring event. Car felt sick, super agile and responded instant. There were scales at the event. She weighed 3225 full of fuel, with me in it. If you take out the fuel (150lbs) /driver (175lbs full gear) weight, she is sitting at about 2900 or so...not bad imo, though she handles like shes 2200lbs!

so back when you had a full interior, how did the car feel compared to the stock motor? Like where did you feel the most noticeable gain in hp? Where did redline hit??

It would be awesome if someone could post up a dyno of your NA motor against a stock HR. I'd love to see your curve compared with the factory tuned Z..
