The car is completely different than it was stock w/ interior. The car is on rails, no body roll, drives a like a go kart. The car used to feel heavy when getting back the throttle through a turn, not anymore. The power is most noticeable in the mid range, which is perfect for a road racing car. The redline is still at 7k, though we are going to use a Cobb Accessport to bring that up. I dont plan on going past 7k to shift but there are a few corners where an upshift is not worth it, but an extra 300-500 rpm would be perfect.
I can probably get my chart laid over a HR chart as Japtrix has tuned several of them.

It looks like you've pulled the windows out, is that right? I ask b/c I stripped my interior this weekend, and pulled those panels off the doors to find that the window rails didn't work without their mounting points, but I can't pull the windows since the car is stored outside.
I was also curious if you pulled a fuse for the fans since you don't have the controls hooked up anymore. In my car, the default when the controls are pulled appears to be full fan at max heat, so was curious if you just pulled a fuse. My car weights 2920# now before adding the roll bar, and like you said, it's noticeably quicker than when it was at full weight.

Havent updated in a while so here is a brief update. Car has been absolutely fantastic. I earned my rookie competition license back in December 2009. Have a few events before I will have my first wheel to wheel race to make sure the car is 110%. First race will be in May at our home track, Homestead, where I have over 1500 laps on. Nothing new with the car. Did a retune and put down 300.4whp on the mustang dyno. The next thing for the car is a 3.9 rear end. The car, even at 3100lbs with me in it is still a pig on the track. Coming out of corners, the car is just not in the powerband. Going to swap some gears in for the next event in March at PBIR. DO WORK SON!

My project has been on the back burner lately for personal reasons. I did Ksport coilovers in January and dropped my lap time over 1 scond at PIR. I am working on installing Kinetix adjustable control arms. Has anyone done this? I need alignment suggestions.
Thanks

Going with a central 20 3.9 FD. My buddy has an extra one laying around that I am getting for a good price. If it isnt enough, there is always able to go up to a 4.09 FD.
Sonic, I have Cusco adustable fronts with SPC rears. We run -3.0 degrees in front, -2.5 degrees in rear, though this is a dedicated race car.

Keep us up to date on the gear change. Curious myself.

There definately were no limitations in tuning though I dont know what the timing is set at. I can find out for you. The E85 is great though, very inexpensive compared to race gas, and it burns so much cleaner. The oil comes out looking brand new after several track events, plugs look brand new. Very impressed by the fuel!
i been thinking of going e85 but i didnt want to spend so much on an upgraded fuel rail lol. thats new news to me about the oil coming out much cleaner. i guess long term e85 is muuuuuch better for the life of the engine.

The motor was also built well, compression numbers after 9 months are still near what they were when it was finished..and I push this thing 10/10ths every event. We replaced the fuel rails as well, not sure if its necessary though.
Just ordered the rebuild kits from Z1 today. Next event is in 4 weeks so they will go in sometime next week or so.
